  • Joey fuckin Diaz brought me here.

  • Joe Rogan didn't bring me here but I love him just the same!

  • Joe Rogan brought me here

  • grunge is over 20 years old, so i guess its technically classic rock? fuck ya

  • You guys should feel happy for music. The 90's grunge scene was a counter to the pop/glam rock of the 80's. The way I see it now, we are just as pop and shitty now as back then. I expect there to be a new grunge rock genre to be born to be a counter to this pop music over saturation.

  • @mezcao haha all music is a cultural indoctrination....

  • @mezcao i wouldnt count on it

  • @24jamestown Actually, he's right - there's actually a whole division of entertainment theory that focuses on "generational skips", and how genres cycle in popularity. It mostly has to do with how people copy the preferences of their parents, and how there's an obvious lag between inheriting the influence and reviving the genre.

    I wrote it :)

  • classic song.

  • my anthem...

  • Joe Rogan brought me here!!!!

  • I miss the days when music like this was the biggest thing on earth

  • @Alanrey6 So true, I miss those days tremendously. I have a young son and I'm afraid he's not going to grow up listening to any music resembling this.

  • @ksagendo amen this generation is all pop lady gaga bieber etc..i miss this:(

  • 2 persons never Blow Up

  • noooothing seeems to kiiiiilll meeeeee

  • I think Soundgarden provided the 2 dislikes...

  • @GesusFnChrist How come? It's their song.

  • @Riotman898 - There was talk of Soundgarden disliking this era of their music in the comments further down...

  • love this song

  • Nothing will do me in before I do myself.

  • I was drinking a bottle of gin listening to this song on repeat back in 2007. I am still doing the same, more or less.

  • @TrashHeapHedonist thats pretty sad dude if youre in the same place more or less 3 yrs later

  • one of their best songs ever!

  • the ironic part of the "this is real music" is that the band themselves don't consider anything off this album, or superunknown to be "real" music...that's why the don't play it when they play a show...

not that i agree...it's just maybe i'm brainwashed too

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 But Soundgarden do play this song...?! 2011 performances of this song are on youtube.

  • @AwesomeFrances then they bullshitted me lol. i've seen interviews with Cornell where they basically say they hate anything they did in this era..

they should play the songs in my opinion, it's part of who they are, good or bad

  • I miss the 90's...

and I miss real music...and real musicians...there's no soul in today's music...only CASH and playback...

  • @magrones78 Nostalgic times..

  • let's all assume those the dislikes were on accident... cause i've done that before. right next to each other ffs

  • Burrow down, baby, burrow down

  • im a teen and listen 2 all the 90's n before

  • Whoa... I just jizz in my pants and I didnt even touch myself. It happen when I was listening to this and thinking of a HOT WOMAN. :)

  • Blow it to hell and gone!

  • Whoa....

  • Soundgarden fucking ROCKS!

  • This is my favorite Soundgarden song. <3

  • Just saw the live version of this song, cornell would've branched out with his vocals but his guitar was bringing him a little bit down like so many good singers.

I love this song, takes me out of a dark place. It's safe to assume we all have internal problems but atleast this song helps us crawl out of the nightmare in our heads or around us for 5 minutes.

  • FTW

  • All history texts should include a chapter on seattle in the early 90s

  • Comment removed

  • Incredible song... how they orchestrated such a dark atmosphere around the song is beyond every new band to come, or even existing at this current moment.

  • blow it to hell

  • back when musicians gave a shit about music

  • @metalbasslondon You mean to say, back when there were musicians.

  • @jfoley715 Hell yea man..

  • @metalbasslondon Or just back when musicians gave a shit.

  • @metalbasslondon Are you saying Soundgarden do not still give a shit about their music?

  • the 90s..............

  • My musical opinions are more important than yours. It's just a fact.

    that's what happened to music.

  • He is a good vocalist and this is a good band, but in my opinion maynard james keenan is a better vocalist and tool is a better band. not hating at all just stating my opinion

  • @bigpayne10 just a silly compare maynard to cornell; both of them have their own way to sing.

save your "great opinion" for your own.

  • @bigpayne10 just a silly compare maynard to cornell; both of them have their own way to sing.

save your "great opinion" for yourself.

  • @rafamelvins

    wut a contradiction.

stating ur own opinion, yet telling somone else not to.

    how silly.

wat has the people of the world come to?

  • I;ve listened to this for 4 hrs straight today. Still going..It;s just that amazing.

  • 1 dislike really? Who can possibly dislike Chris Cornell and Kim Thayil?

  • B E S T V O C A L I S T E V E R.

  • @KobySGSRV ...lol, Definitely Not.

  • @KobySGSRV ...STP has a far better vocalist and there are many others that are way better then both of them but STP is better

  • @Lifter85 No way is Scott Weiland a better vocalist than Chris Cornell. This song certainly isn't an accurate portrayal of Cornell's range and power. Scott is one of my favorite singers, but I think Chris is better. I prefer the vocals of Layne Staley over both of them. He had a power in him that is gone, but he left behind something for us to treasure. Anyway, I'm looking forward to more Soundgarden. I'll have to check out more of STP' new stuff and see what I like.

  • I could not agree more!!

  • @blackraynestorm couldnt agree more

  • @Lifter85

    fuck off please

  • We had our Led Zep you have Soundgarden ,sounds pretty good to me . then play on

  • This is so badass!

  • This song gives me goosebumps because of its awesomeness.

  • @TaylorPop

Probably a head orgasm. LOL look that shit up.

  • @TaylorPop indeed mr.pop, indeed. stratisfy!

  • Nothing seems to kill me,no matter how hard I try....

Cornell wrote the most metal lyrics of all fuking time....cept when did that dumb ass pop album.WTF was up with that>?

  • Soundgarden was a great band, and Chris Cornell has done some great stuff since, but I'm patiently waiting for the day that something tops this.

  • Wow. Find an awesome rock song, read 5 comments arguing about tuning and pitch. XD

  • Can anyone say classic rock???? Well I'll say it CLASSIC ROCK!!!! Anyone not onboard with that is a talent-less bastard with a room temp. I.Q. lol.

  • good song tht ive never heard before i bought tht Asides cd soundgarden is a badass band

  • @antz350

    u can buy music? gtfo

  • @iamtheroe wth u talkin bout i like this song dick munch cool ur jets and slow ur roll

  • this song makes my penis happy

  • this song is amazing.PERIOD.

  • my favorite song ever

  • awesome !!!

  • I need to figure out how to rendition the Soundgarden tunes into standard so I don't have to have 5 or 6 guitars to have all the different tunings ready. I already worked out Burden In My Hand for standard (well down a half a step so I can sing along and it not sound like shit)

  • @ComaAlpha I'm pretty sure this song is in standard.

  • @MicMunk21 You're out of your mind if you think any soundgarden tune is in standard. Kim used a whole bunch of weird tunings.

  • @ComaAlpha lol. You must not be a guitar player. And if you are you need to spend less time on the internet and more time playing and studying. This song is in standard tuning. Learn how to play. Then watch any video of Soundgarden playing this song. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what chords they're playing (I'll even help you... it starts off in open E). Kim does use a bunch of wierd tunings... just not in this song. I guess if I'm out of my mind you must be a fucking lunatic

  • @MicMunk21 Youtube search "Adam Hall Nutshell" and "Adam Hall Plush"

I've figured out a way to play Burden in standard tuning. And I never looked at any tablature or cover videos for Blow Up on the internet, so I must claim ignorance on that subject.

  • @ComaAlpha There's really no way to play a lot of Soundgarden songs in standard. If you tried to play some of those jazz chords in standard you'll break your fingers.

  • @Frugs22 I'm not saying it has to be note for note, I'm just saying enough to fake it.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU'RE FROM WASHINGTON STATE

  • GREAT SONG!!!!

  • when we decide to blow up the outside...Mr.1dislike can just stay outside

  • somebody must have been too excited and accidently hit the dislike button

  • One of the retard has just watched d video .

  • @quadlea95 all the nickelback clones as well

  • drama sleeps at the golfcourse for soundgarden

  • SOUNDGARDEN!!!

  • So much for 'Teenage Agnst'; I'm still singin this 10 years after.

  • @preciouspaul847

    Dude,so am I but I wasn't a teenager when Soundgarden released this.

  • Comment removed

  • @preciouspaul847

    salute!

  • learned it, great song, fun to play once you can figure it out.

  • @Camaromandave98 You can say that again.

  • this song is incredibly difficult to play on guitar. So many chord changes, not a standard song structure at all, friggin awesome!!! but I'm getting a head ache trying to learn it :P

  • @RyanUnplugged I dunno... the chords are pretty easy but sooo well structured once u get it. Its just the melodies that are a pain lol

  • @whackjob1994 "once you get it" is the key phrase. It's definitely not a standard chord structure, so many changes. I did a pretty decent cover on my page.

  • If only music is....What it was...

  • Heard this song for the first time today. Soundgarden is so underrated nowadays.

  • this sounds like cold contagious

  • such a great song wtf is wrong with you people only 103 ratings?get fucking real

  • aye, they are slowly intruding on our freedom to share and communicate as always. It's sad and like governments do to people/society. If you protest they shut you down in more ways than one. It's better to fight for what's right than to lose your soul to 'playground bullys'

  • An incredible song.

  • Vevo can go to hell as well the new youtube

  • esta cancion me deja too mojao kjakjkjkja xP

  • i remem hearing this song during an mtv movie awards for best action sequence (independence day) and it fit so awesomely.

  • chris cornell is still smokin' hot.

  • I wanna meet Chris Cornell, just to tell him how badass he is and might not know it. I'd offer him a rocking deal, which wouldn't include Timbaland.

Damn, which I could meet the guy, I have so much advice for such a fallen prodigy for him.

  • @kissthesettingsun I'm sure he whiches he could meet you as well. Maybe a coupon swap?

  • Esta cancion es mi himno

  • best set of musicians to live

  • This song is my favorite to get stoned too. the beginning is perfect, Just taken that first token, feeling the relaxation settle in. the calm before the storm.

  • my "forever" song from SG

  • buckracer is a genius!!!!

  • An amazing song. The lyrics just make it even better once you get over the shock of the beautiful sound of it.

  • best song ever written

  • 1:27 to 2:03

    Fuckin Rocks!

  • when i have a bad day now, i invision everything just blowing up and that makes it all better

  • 8 beers, earphones,a couch and this song on repeat. "Blow up the outside world"Americas fundamental philosophy on life.

  • hahahahaha i love that

  • One of the best grunge bands of all time!!

  • given everything i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!

  • this song is a perfect set of tits. Well put sir.

  • @buckracer

You've the soul of a poet!

  • it rocks ! one of the greatest bands ever !

  • this is such a great song..wish there were bands like this today..

  • I know, what happened to music? Good Charlotte and Linkin Park? please.

  • i agree, but I don't agree you cited linkin park. is a great band that is having a great evolution since hybrid theory, and besides, soundgarden is soundgarden and linkin park is linkin park, there are two diferent styles. linkin park knew how to grow up in music, not leaving behind their roots (for now), and is hard to do that for a musician. GC, I like them...but you can cite them.

  • @quadleaf95 yes, and gaga, roxette, etc.

but: immolation, pearl jam, soundgarden also happened lol

  • @quadleaf95 Hey, nothing wrong with Linkin Park! Psh. I like both Soundgarden and Linkin Park.

  • @LadyHae yeah but Linkin Park is no Soundgarden

  • @quadleaf95 They are different, true. I'm not sure which I like more. I love both of them for different reasons, y'know?

  • @quadleaf95 please dont even mention anything like that here.....

  • @quadleaf95

I second that. I fuckin hate Linkin Park.

  • @quadleaf95 You shouldn't insult LP and Good Charlotte, or any band for that matter. What you may consider good, others may not like. Vise versa. Great song but what if I told you I wasn't a big fan of Soundgarden yet I enjoyed Good Charlotte (which I don't)? I would be the counter example to your good music statement.

  • @quadleaf95 Oh don't forget Limp Bizkit.....Best Douches ever

  • @bryant5266 yeah I forgot about them, you said it worst band ever, biggest fucking tools on Earth

  • There's a bit of a Beatles influence in this track.

  • really? how do you hear it?

  • I had always thought that there was more of a Led Zeppelin influence because of the combination of acoustic and electric instruments, but whatever it is it rocks! Soundgarden rules!

  • @11r14l92s Yeah and plus Chris's voice always reminded me of Robert Plant's. Plus SG always seemed to be off beat and had some songs that were psychedelic

  • soundgardens stairway to heaven if you ask me. im definitely wearing my flannel tomorrow in respect.

  • damn right yeahsee33 MTV SUX ASS

  • I always get hypnotized at the end XD

  • Thanks for being the Studio version.

  • love this song so fuckin much!!!!

  • what a downward slope.

  • crying with this song =x

  • Dude!! This song brings me back so many memories!!! Soundgarden is a fuckin´amazing band!!!Just listen this song, it´s rage music!!!

  • man, why is no more the original video of this song on youtube ? anyway thanks for upload this one

  • Fell on Black Days is my favorite, but I think this is in my top 5.

  • soundgarden is one of the best bands of the

90's and of all time. And this my favourtie song apart from black hole sun or pretty noose. COME BACK SOUNDGARDEN!!!!

  • This isn't even in my top 5 favorite Soundgarden songs, yet it still owns anything out today.

  • You suck.

  • grunge fucktard there's a difference asshole

  • Hi...I´ve just finished collecting 180 vids from one of the best periods in rock history.

If you are into Soundgarden, there´s a bunch of music you need to check out or perhaps reminisce.

Please enjoy, ... and see you in hell :-)

  • I really dont begin to like a song at the first time i hear it, but this song really is awesome! and I already digg it! I heard it on MTV last night, but i did'thave any sound on because of my grandma. anyways I saw it was Cornell who sang it, so i had to write it down on my hand =)
