  • They pretty much summed up america for everyone.

  • i dont get why everyone trys to act all big and bad in the comments

  • My teachers eventually gave up trying to make me stand.

  • Schooling is a form of cruel and unusual punishment.

  • this is a joke right

  • Comment removed

  • ahhh that is so screry thay zombies

  • Yes it is Brian Washing

  • so was slavery, whats your point? MOST of the population was christian so that makes this a nation under god? the only reason i brought up the declaration was to show you that this country wasnt founded on christian principles. it was founded on the principles of liberty. our country has no connection to any religion, nor should it. and im sorry to be so blunt but the only "influence" its had on our society seems to be brainwashing the young and confused into believing disproven fairy tales

  • @mrguermo1 Actually, America was not founded on Christian principals. It was founded on rebellion against another government and Nation. To be honest, I have a strong hate for the way the Americanisation is in the modern day. America, A new country, Has so much influence over things. And , Here comes the hate from this next Opinionated statement. But, If you compare the uprise of the Nazi party in Germany during the 30s, And you look at the building of America, See any similarities?

  • @TravisManicci no if you actually look at each objectively, there's not many similarities and there are many differences, of course as with any large nation if you look for similarities your going to find some

  • Ok if your guys cant just watch and enjoy the JOKE then go live in some shitty african village and see how much you miss this hypocritical country, damn.

  • @ZMN0Productions AMMURIKA!

  • @mrguermo1 WEEEOOOOW NASCAR!!!!!!!! lol

  • Come get your ritalin....priceless. Laughed my ass of! PS: That "under god" bullshit was added in during the witch hunts of the post-WW2, 1950's...right after America finally sold the last, vestigial bits of it's soul (identity, uniqueness, raison d'être) to the devil (corporate control) and became the current world empire (oppressor).

  • I am the announcer at my school, and I die a little inside when i have to recite this crap.

  • @DiemondProductions Do you HAVE to recite it? What happens if you don't?

  • @feonor26 youre supposed to. but really its just looked down upon if you dont. the brainwashing works on most people. but thats just for students. it might be required for teachers and such. so if they refuse i guess they get shipped to guantanamo for waterboarding. theyre a threat to national security just like those hooligans from the uk who wanted to "destroy america" and dig up our sweet marilyn monroe. this country is getting embarrasing

  • lol

  • Makes me wonder if any of WKUK are Religious, and if so, If they recognized the Irony

  • Samuel Johnson: "Ahh patriotism – the last reference of the scoundrel?" No.To paraphrase Obama:“The.question of who is or what is patriotism often poisons our political debates & divides us, rather than bringing us together...patriotism resides in one's heart & is not forced or legislated & certainly is not call for war.” Patriotism is a construct that in most countries supports peace." This video is an understood example of less than reluctant & tasteless sarcasm. Jill Ann Fryklund

  • Frightening indeed. And as it goes on, it just keeps getting worse . . .

  • This is more scary than funny

  • HAHAHAHA thank you.

  • This explains a whole lot about americans being over patriotic sometimes :/

  • @officeialAdvertisment actually I'm wondering why people claim god blesses American, I don't really believe in god but I have studied religion and well to put it bluntly god was all about manarchies, the the whole giving so much to the poor for everyone to be on an equal financial level, lets face it god supports a communistic monarchy and if he does exist id imagine he ducking hates us

  • when i watched this i started repeating it too and remembered it, it's funny how some things just stay in the back of ur head from childhood

  • Lol @ everyone who thinks the indoctrinization is in the pledge of allegiance. Ur precious libs run the schools...the most anti-American people! They want alegiance to their religion which is pseudo science and big government.

  • The way some athiests talk about God like they r proud to be headed on the road to damnation God created and loves you america gives u freedom i like to think of a time when people were faithful to God when in God we trust

    Meant something.

  • @OfficialAdvertisment im sorry but the first part of your comment doesn't make sense, atheists just don't believe in God and they can be just as proud of that as you would be about believing in God, so atheists don't believe in the road to damnation.

  • i burst out laughing when they said " this country is the best country ever. all the other countries suck. " lol

  • 546 ungrateful commies liked this video

  • @StuntedSnail So I am guessing your the terrorist who DISliked it?

  • this sketch is SO accurate it's not even funny...

  • last time i said the pledge was when i was in 2nd grade

  • elementary is supposed to be like this right?

  • You all are a bunch of ungrateful fucks. "Oh boo ho, I had to say the pledge of allegiance in high school." What's the big deal? You don't stand for liberty and Justice? You don't want to be unified? If you hate all this stuff so much move to Columbia or something.

  • @xxxBlueIncendiaxxx It's not saying the words, it's having children who are too young to know what they are saying to ingrain that into theyre minds, without even getting a choice in whether or not they have to participate. There's nothing wrong with anything in the pledge but it's patriotic brainwashing and I would just rather have them wait to get kids to say it til they are old enough to know what the pledge actually means.

  • @xxxBlueIncendiaxxx I don't think you get it. Once when I was in homeroom when I was still in school, I was sleeping. I didn't stand for the pledge, and they tried to suspend me for it. THAT is the whole point, that children are pretty much forced to say all this shit when they really don't even know what it means.

  • @chosentonessournotes Your an asshole, your to lazy to stand up and show a little respect, but shame on the school for interrupting your precious nap time and forcing you to stand.

  • @footbalr074 Oh shut the fuck up. I'm no less American or less patriotic just because I slept through the pledge. That's our right as Americans, that we aren't forced to do this shit. Get off your high horse, chump. I was also, what, 14? 15?

  • @footbalr074 PS: YOU'RE an asshole, YOU'RE TOO lazy to stand up, etc. It's pretty fucking pathetic that I slept through/bullshitted my way through most of school, yet I have a better grasp of the English language than you. Learn to fucking spell and use proper grammar before trying to belittle someone else, ya fuck.

  • Comment removed

  • @chosentonessournotes in my school you just have to stand you dont have to say it

  • @XxSYCOSLAYER15xX That's just it.. I didn't stand, I was SLEEPING, so they said I was being "disrespectful" when I didn't even know the pledge was going on!

  • @xxxBlueIncendiaxxx It is clear the hypnotoad controls this one.

  • THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BRAINWASHING

  • Very good kids. Now come and get your riddaline.

  • i feel like anonymous would do something like this

  • Ya know this actully makes sense

  • Comment removed

  • awesome

  • under god was not in the originaly pledge anyway I never say the pledge , I also belive in gods. Seperation from chruch and state. We also had to pray and sing the anthem alot in my school, a public school.

  • LOL. We still have to pledge in high school. In elementary we had to sing National Anthem. Every. Day. D:

  • Respect to the children who refused to do this

Those are the really bright ones you want to watch.

  • Why is the British national anthem playing in the background?

  • Don't eat those socks.

  • Brainwashing much?

  • Comment removed

  • i do not raise my hand to my heart in school because 3 reasons

    1. America sucks

    2. This sketch is mostly true

    3. "God" is mentioned in it, america has free religion (in my case atheism) and i don't think that's right

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy youmadbro?

  • @RyanLikesAmp Not really, but i still dont see why we should raise hands at the pledge, sure for soldiers but the us soldiers aren't mentioned once in the pledge

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy We don't have to. Nobody has to. It is our right to choose what to do.

  • @RyanLikesAmp yeah but once someone doesn't they are hated for it, we had a teacher in our school call him "A nazi communist bastard" the kid got detention and publicly the kid was quiet the teachers made a big scene, and what happened to the teacher? he was told not to do it again, quietly. Some kid turns his back to the flag it makes news! We have the right not to, but once you do, they socially take your rights away.

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy

dude i know, the worst part is god wasn't even added untill the 50s

  • @JymzJameson

    stupid.

  • @nerdhaters1 whats stupid?

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy i hate the "god" line i believie in multiple gods but i feel that i might be wrong and anyone else might be right so we sould all respect eachothers belifs

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy America's govt sucks, the country is the only one ill ever live in

  • @TrpDean Switzerland is great.

They never go into war, but EVERYONE has a gun. everyone has to serve in the swiss army though. Doesn't matter, cause they NEVER GO TO WAR.

It's REALLY hard to become a citizen.

  • @TrpDean Meh, wouldn't be so bad if they'd let in the immigrants stopped fucking with visa laws, getting free healthcare, and you know, unfuck the economy maybe get everyone back from a retarded war. But it's not like countries that completely impoverish their citizens, deny them food clean water and health care, and make people needlessly die from treatable diseases because fuck those guys.

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy I quit because I came to school fucking tired and I was too busy finding smart kids that would let me copy the homework I didn't finish.

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy I know what you mean. I'm christian, and i still don't agree with that. It's fucked up. It's hypocritical. 'We have free religion, just pledge alleigiance under the god we believe is right' I like your wicked shrapnel based name, too. hahaha

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy not trying to get into a debate here but the reason god was put in is because not only is the majority of the country christian, our country was based on christian principles, its not trying to make you believe in god. you are practicing your freedom of speech by not saying the pledge, and i respect that.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImaJosha just because the founding fathers stressed the idea of not being oppressive dicks doesnt mean that this country "was based on christian principles." in fact the declaration of independence and constitution where specifically worded to oppose inclusion of religion. for example one of the delagates wanted the declaration to say "we hold these truths to be sacred." but ben franklin changed it to self-evident so that it wouldnt include god.

  • @mrguermo1 i respect your right to practice your religion but youve got your facts wrong. the truth is the founding fathers would have probably been unanimously opposed to the idea of a pledge of allegiance let alone the phrase "under god." btw did you know it was written by socialist. fun fact

  • @mrguermo1 i didnt say in particular that the declaration stated things that relate to christianity. what im saying is that this country was brought up as christian, and christianity influenced many many about our culture and society today.

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy America is probably the best country out there even now with its crappy government. It is the most free place in the world.

  • @TrollingUnicornArmy why do thay even Pledge of Allegiance in the frust place its silly

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahah oh my god, funniest fuckin thing EVAR

  • I can think of the greatest reason of all why no one should be forced to state the Pledge of Allegiance: Native Americans.

  • hahaa

  • so tru...

  • This is fucking perfect.

  • why do i have a sudden urge to worship america and punnish foreighners

  • wat da hell

  • best school ever ll free ritalin lmao 2 a pill thems bitches would be makin me bank hahaha

  • pledges are something you say 1 time?

  • Ive never said the pledge once

  • yeah rittlin

  • It's funny because this is exactly what school is like. unfortunatly they didn't ever do anything about the crazier things that happen in school. For example nothing the supreme court says applies on school grounds and staff have the authority to take away any and every one of the students rights. I keep telling my teachers that even if it is legal this is comparable to what the nazi regime did, but they just keep telling me that my morals are worthless. Fuck Barack Osama and the whole system.

  • @2Bforsaken You're whining about your teachers and blaming "Barack Osama"? I don't get it. PUNK CEDAR CUNT GET OFF MY LAWN.

  • @grumpybritishguy there are a couple problems with your statement. I never said that the president was responsible for it. He has very little real power and is nothing more than a symbol of the current regime. Had this regime not gone to such extreme lengths to make us all nothing more than uneducated servants the educational system would focus more on academics and everything the supreme court says would apply to students.

  • About how it goes....

  • Keep fulling kids' head of garbage..when they will grow up they will it vomit through their mouth..

  • this is awful

  • This is not a form of brainwashing.

  • America in a nutshell.

  • Amen. :3

  • Haven't said the pledge since 3rd grade. Been punished all sorts of ways because of it.

  • @Jaxin30993 Be proud, because people gave their lives for you to have that right, and you dont even recepect them.

  • @ualaxer2990 ...thats just what we keep telling ourselves...

  • @ualaxer2990 Sorry, no offense, but not once in the pledge does it say anything about the men and women who gave their lives. No, instead it talks about the republic and a god. I believe in neither of those and should not be made to swear an oath to them.

  • @retardkid4040 true dat

  • @retardkid4040 Unfortunately for you there is a republic. Actually, there are REPUBLICS.

  • @retardkid4040 You don't believe in a republic? Thats unfortunate, I don't believe in a democracy! Or political parties, just how the founding the fathers intended it.

  • @Jaxin30993 That's unconstitutional. You're allowed to refuse to say it under the purview of the first amendment.

  • @Jaxin30993

    Do you want a cookie?

  • @Jaxin30993 i stopped because of the "under god" line

  • @Jaxin30993 wow fuck this country

  • @Jaxin30993 Never said the god part.

    Cause i was atheist.

    Noone noticed.

  • @Jaxin30993 Amen

  • @Jaxin30993 Im a scientologist so my teachers keep wondering why i keep skipping the "under god" part lol

  • Ron Swanson as an elementary teacher.

  • LOL This was so frikcin funny! And absolutely SO TRUE! HAHA

  • probably the truest sketch in history. From the truest comedy troup on the planet. WKUK, keepin it real!

  • @Calebmoyer i dont understand why they have it, Its only for public schools, no private schools in USA have to do a pledge.

  • @asdavfinch I am sure that that isn't the only reason some people refuse to recite that litany.

  • Silly Americans. Men also died for your country to give you the right to sit down and not say the pledge.

  • This is very true, that is why Jehovah's Witnesses do not allow their kids to recite the pledge...it's pagan idol worship which has no place in a government public school.

  • I feel like this is a Rick Perry 2012 ad....

  • is this comedy thing? or serious thing??

  • @mika11111985 comedy.

  • @hellfishazeroth I'm angry because I love my country and I take it as a personal insult to my intelligence when its (in my opinion) unequaled governmental prowess is slandered by the ignorant.

  • Hipsters will always pat themselves on the back for not being patriotic, calling themselves "smarter." Let's just shut up and enjoy the sketch.

  • @DARPAchief2 Hahaha, it's so mainstream to call everyone hipster who doesn't act like a sheep, get it? Hahah.

Shut your fucking mouth. You patriotic fools are pathetic dicks who have nothing else to be proud of and cling to anything that makes you feel superior. How can you be proud of your random birthplace.?

How about this shorter version of the pledge of bullshit : I pledge allegiance for liberty and justice for all, and not to a piece of putrid cloth.

  • @XtremePacifist I almost forgot... FUCK YOU VERY MUCH AND GET THE FUCK OUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!

AND DON'T GO INSULTING THOSE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES PATRIOTIC AND THEN PRETENTIOUSLY TYPE THE WORD "PEACE" YOU DUMB-FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @flooperduck

    y u mad tho?

  • @flooperduck GAWD BLESS AMHERICKAH

  • @XtremePacifist The kids are not brainwashed. They do that in the school system as a custom. By the way, in order to be brainwashed you have to actually think about what idea is being projected at you. I know that when I was in kindergarten I didn't give a damn about that sort of thing and neither did anyone else. Obviously you didn't either or you would be as you say "brainwashed". Take a look around. This video wouldn't be here if that was the case and you wouldn't have the top comment.

  • The part about god was not apart of the original pledge, it was added later by idiots who didn't understand seperating church and state

  • @DeadNorwegianBlue Kind of...it was added during the red scare to try and differentiate ourselves from "the godless commies." But adding god doesn't make it violate the establishment clause; using government-issued authority, (e.g. as a teacher, city council member, etc.), to force others to participate in a ritual of religion does, though.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is pretty funny.

  • I think that deserves a round of applause.

  • God bless America!

  • "ok kids come get your Ritalin" hahaha that was the best part

  • THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BRAINWASHING

THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BRAINWASHING

THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BRAINWASHING

  • Comment removed

  • Brilliant (sadly)

  • EXACTLY. This is why I don't recite the pledge anymore... o.o

  • why do i have the sudden urge to go to a flag and recite that whole thing, espicially the "this is not a form of brain washing"

  • thats fucking annoying

  • Did he just offer the kids retalain

  • Lol, they didnt take out the pledge of allegiance because its brainwashing, but because it had the word "God" in it

  • Does anyone besides me realize that all the people who complain about the pledge of allegiance and how it "Brainwashes" people, already said this every day and aren't brainwashed? I love my country because I know about it. Peace.

  • Best teacher ever.

  • GOD i watched like 57 seconds of this and couldn't finish because the voice of children is so f*cking ANNOYING!!!! Hate the voice of children =_= makes me wanna stab my ears so i cant hear their retarded voices!!!!...British children are cool though...lol British are adorable

  • wow this video certainly did spark alot of uproar about foreign affairs and patriotism, which Im sure not one of you arguing know a thing about, I say if you dont like something, change it and make it better; complaining on youtube.com wont get any of you anywhere lol

  • Before world war 2 they did the nazi salute instead of the hand on the heart.

    Juuuuust saying.

  • fun times growing up

  • These kids have darned good memories.

  • Patriotism is the consequence of propaganda.

  • its funny cuz its true.

  • As a Canadian, I've always found the Pledge of Allegiance to be a bizarre concept.

  • I'm so happy I don't live in the US.

  • @MrJackstar123 We're so glad you don't either.

I'm sure you're country has it all figured out.

  • @ccrosbie33 nah it doesnt, but it caused waaaay less damage to this world so far

  • @MrJackstar123 What country are we talking abou here then, Mr. Jackstar? Would it be one who keeps its citizens in corner and does less "damage to the world" by internal oppression or a land like Canada who leeches off of the military protection of other stronger nations? Either way, kudos.

  • @ccrosbie33 What protection? There's never been any war there to "leeches off" any military protections. As for actual "war", Canada and UK sent troops to Afghanistan to help USA.

  • @ccrosbie33

Leaches off the protection of others? Who is a threat to us or them? Who can cross either of those two huge oceans to be a threat to us? We are on the other side of the world from any country that opposes us to begin with!

  • What did Trevor give out

  • @moocher2121 how come youve been on it since you were 7, but still cant even spell "Ritalin" right?

  • @LightbreadLoftin....haha I wouldn't want to look stupid trying to not butcher methyphenidate either.

  • the riddlin thing annoys me. I've been on it since I was around 7, all it does is help you focus! If some people can't think or whatever you people think it does when they take it, then that is their own reaction to the drug. Riddlin is not evil!
