As an atheist Greek, let me say this: the Olympian religion is even MORE regressive than Christianity. Many of the ancient philosophers were either openly atheist (e.g. Epicurus, Theodorus) or had elements of atheism (or at least agnosticism) in their ideas. Christianity was an improvement on polytheism in that it tried to simplify beliefs and base them on the new Hellenic logic, i.e the rational. Christianity is not rational, but polytheism is even less so.
I'm glad to see the Greeks worshiping the ancient gods. I haven't been practicing long but I just love this religion and the gods.

I would call Olympian Religion flexible rather than regressive.
