@silverworks22 the spo1 shadow is already set up for IPSC so the trigger pulls much smoother but it can be adjusted in the tactical too , The SPO1 tactical is just different over the set up of trigger pull and the safety thumbrest and has a fixed tritium night sight . just have to pick w/c one suits ur need. CZ has a very good reputation in defense and sports shooting . It has a very accurate barrel even the cz75 and cz 85 are very good too .

Even when you reload, you have to hit a power factor rating, that still involves having a velocity you have to hit, which creates recoil. Im just sayingthe guy has amazing recoil control.

Not sure about a production division Shadow with the stock double action trigger, but a Shadow converted for single action only makes high speed shooting absurdly easy. This is a fantastic gun.

@dependinkthinkley Shroud? I am not sure what you are talking about from that picture. Maybe you mean the front part of the frame? If so, then yes, it is part of the pistol. You see, the CZ-75 has a reversed frame, so the slide rides inside the frame, rather then the slide riding on top of the frame like most pistols.

How much better is a fiber optic sight than a normal white dot sight?

When light hits it, fiber starts to glow, so you always see it glowing, when shooting in illuminated areas, which makes it easier to understand, where are you aiming at. Fiber is not good for a carry gun, though, because you cannot see it in dark, unlike 3 dot "trijicon"

I actually own a shadow, and like he said, the gun is great, particularly for those of us with smaller hands. It's cheaper than the 92FS too, along with other numerous qualities, particularly the grip, it's so comfy and not too fat.

I bought my shadow last week, very good weight and balance, the trigger pull is smooth beyond my expectations for a handgun out of the box.

Before I had a Glock 17, so the shadow is a big step forward for me, can`t wait till I finally get to shoot it.

and for me the CZ SPO1 Shadow is the perfect gun because of its heaviness it reduces the muzzle lift thus reducing recoil.

I shoot the Shadow and it was too big and heavy for me - could not handle it properly. Its a duty service gun, of course. Love my Glock 19.

The Shadow was too heavy? it's like 1kg.

I just started shooting and the shadow is the 3rd handgun I used (so I'm not all that famliar with different types) and it is much more comfortable and easy to hold

Weightwise I found it better than the other 2 and the recoil (using 9mm slayer blue) was much easier to handle.

It is kinda big though (especially if you compare it to your Glock 19)

oh sweet lord no. a .50bmg dimensions are 12.7x99mm. a .50AE (what a desert eagle shoots) is 12.7x33mm. The diameter of the round is the same, but the force behind is is DRASTICALLY different. same for a .40S&W vs 10mm but they are much closer in comparison.

If the cartridge has a small pistol primer then it's not such a big caliber if you know what i mean. KF, the minimum caliber in IPSC is 9mm. The shooter in this video shoots in the Production division and it makes sense to use a smaller caliber because there is no difference in scoring unlike the other divisions where you can be penalized if you hit outside of the alpha while shooting 9mm.

Yes he is a very good shot but someone else might use his pistol and be just as good or better because of it's obvious modification that make it very smooth and accurate pistol who knows how much is invested in the pistol he could have had the best gunsmith make the best tune up. spektek9, I think it is just the other way round. You could hand him a crap pistol and he would be almost as good with it. It's not that the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow/Mamba doesn't *help* in shooting better, but it's first and foremost the skill of the shooter.

First of all a crap pistol is not what he shoots with cause he would suck at it he doesn't train with all pistols especially something like an EAA pistol tossed all around so I think a Great gun and believe me his gun is very special seeing him shooting so anyone can shoot very well with it's highly professional modifications that you might not be aware of.

He shoots a CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow "Mamba". This is a ~€900 stock pistol anyone can buy. Since he shoots in IPSC production class the alterations allowed on the gun are precisely mentioned in the IPSC rules and anything else would have him disqualified quite quickly. In my opinion it's almost always the shooter and not the gun. :)

As Connor said, Adam shoots in the Production Division where modifications is almost nil. The Shadow is "out of the box" and from the feedback of many who have handled the gun, it is one smooth shooter. An excellent shooter + an excellent gun = 2 consecutive IPSC WorldShoot trophies.

all said is truth. You can drool on his skill as much as you like. But you will never get close to him no matter how hard you try. Because it's just the way the life is - if you are trolling on youtube, you are not good enough shooter. Because real shooters don't troll, they just come to world events and take first places.
