  • i love... the shape of his skull.

  • Maximquaye, now that was real hiphop...branding it as 'trip'hop was just a way of marketing it to the affluent drug-taking white youth of the late 90's as a comedown after having their ears blasted by industrial trance.

  • yoooooooo im cuban and i am a big tricky fan , over there we dont get that much just the stupid american comercial hip hop of these days , but always stayed myself for real to good music and him is one of my fav...

  • one of my favorite songs of all time

  • After listening to this for years, it's hard to believe I only just thought of looking for the video! Glad I did.

  • kick ass! great clip!

  • when the heck did this pass me by!!?? great track mate! remember kick boxing and you taking on that big guy outside moonclub!? crazy. Hope your well star.

  • Criminally under-appreciated track.

  • @UncleChopChop I agree! This is just one great track, that deserved to become a hit!

  • Man, I've been looking for this song forever. About damn time, Americans haven't been grabbin' this up yet.

  • Americans haven't been grabbing this up? Where you been bro? I got introduced to Tricky in '92, got every major release since. I know lots of people into Tricky.

  • hold up now... i saw tricky in 97 in Nashville...

i have records from ten years ago i bought in Nashville... i know im not the only one!!

  • i really dont understand what you are saying

  • Bruv, we're trying! What do you reckon to Lady Sovereign and Dizzee Rascal?

  • dude, what the fuck are you talking about. tricky has his own style. name an american artist that tricky sounds like. you cant. oh yeah, im american too, haha. and quite honestly, this isnt a time for americans to proud and arogant about hip-hop.

  • thats so true, because if been trying to think of a category to put him into. like i just discovered him literally about 3 minutes ago and i can already tell how unique this guy is.

  • really?

so; portishead, SADE, massive attack, the wild bunch, zero 7, dj vadim, dj krush, air, dabrye, avalanches, nujabees, etc etc arent real? interesting. and how come so many "REAL" american hip-hop artists have to play shows and concerts everywhere EXCEPT america? lol. because america doesnt even support the few real artists they have.

  • nogar, you are seriously in a narrow state of musical mind, you need to step out of the sludge

, the outside world is amazing

  • Thank fuckin' God most of the electronic music was created by white Europeans.

  • And pretty much nobody likes the US,so who cares??Besides,it must be pretty tough,to live in a country that is a laughing stock of the world, mainly because of people like you.I can't blame you for being mentally disabled, after all, you're from a country which allowed freedom for their slaves only to turn against their former masters and overrun the whole country, but also has only about 400 years of history mostly made of sensless genocides and redneck wars...It's not your fault your American...

  • Now you are getting into BS. Are you saying that the slaves should have remained slaves? The salves do not run the US. Obama is not from slaves. Now if you look at western Europe, the UK included, THIS is an example of former slaves taking over the countries! Think before you talk. The Britsh are the masters of racism, arrogance and homoseuxality. Just look at you history over the last 200 years.

  • Your so full of shit for some reason Americas only think there country is better BEFORE the even research anywhere else learn about the rest of the world before judgin u arrogant redneck

  • lulz such a non-biased view of America

    go suck dick

  • always fucking jews... remember, as long as its indirect, its not a sin.

  • @sucramnipp i feel that...u named EVERY SINGLE one of my favorites...crucial...jus crucial...i feel the same way.

  • @sucramnipp you are sooo right!

  • @sucramnipp yeah man ,except - portishead are from britan, massive attack are from britan the wild bunch - i dont know , never heard of them zero7 - birtan dj vadim - russia dj krush - japan air- don't know , but heard songs... dabrye - UNITED STATES avalanches - Australia nujabees - Japan Otherwise , yes good job... ...... . .. . . .
  • @Linkydj i never said those artist were american. its obvious they arent. i started my 2nd statement with "and", implying that i was stating a 2nd point, unrelated to the first statement i made. i think all the 'thumbs up" on that comment clearly imply that people knew what i meant. like...really? you think i didnt know that PORTISHEAD isnt from britain?

  • @sucramnipp No actually I was amazed some one can say that , I just implied taht your comment is some what missleading :).

  • @sucramnipp All the bands you mentioned are in fact real. I agree a hundred percent. However there has been a lot of love from US fans to US artists as well as UK, French, etc artists. Why does every track on youtube have a hate speech dialog going on in its comment area? I thought that we were all supposed to approach music and other people's ideas and cultures with an open mind. A big, warm fuck you to all the haters around youtube....FOR REAL, Ya Heard?

  • @sucramnipp you are correct for sure. i often wondered that too. what is wrong with our system?
