They are a basic 18" blacklight fixture on each side of the case, and they sit just behind the 3700 on each side.
They aren't actually mounted, which I've paid for when a druck chick knocked one over and broke one night.
Overall, they're pretty stable sitting like that as long as you don't have a crowded DJ booth.

I actually use the 3700s as they are, using the laptop separately for requests, starting new mixes etc.
The scratch samples in this video are from a thumb drive via USB, and the 2 Live Crew from CD.
