I appreciate Jan's faithfulness to her son regardless of his condition and most of all for her faithfulness to God. God knows the plans he has for us and they are plans to prosper us and to give us hope and a future. It is sad when people don't realize the hope that is available beyond the misery of this world.

We don't always know the reason or rhyme for everything but we do know that God is in control. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has a plan for us to be prosperous, etc. Allen may not be prosperous and healthy by your definition but his riches will come in heaven. I pray that some day you will be able to find your riches in heaven.
