@therealkingjames55 actually no. The new chargers WILL lock with the fob inside, but only for a second. Then the horn honks a few times (similar to when using key fob to lock it) & the doors automatically unlock so u can retrieve your fob. However, either way I wouldn't leave my fob in the car, because while a stranger can't walk by and lock ur car by pushing one button, they can get in your car & drive off by pushing one button!!! So be smart. Carry your fob with you everywhere just like a nor

How did you completely miss one of the actual "all new" features.. paddle shifters?! Very in depth review, although some of the commentary was inaccurate.. Ie. the alpine premium sound package is not included in the road and track pkg, amd those are not the chrome-clad wheels, those are the upgraded polished aluminum (~$1000 option). Glad they brought back the bolstered seats for 2012.. Booyah

One killer car, I testdrove a 2011 version last august. Man, what a blast. I'm just curious why both the tach & speedo needles go to max and back when the engine is just started. I noticed that on an older Lexus too a while ago. Too bad the price on those cars triples in my country because of all the damn tax.

Nice looking Charger i'll admit it, but hm you don't even need to put the key in the car now? yup automakers are making us lazier, we can't even start our own cars with a key in the ignition! hell, the Jeep we have (2007) soon as you put the car in drive the headlights turn on given that it's a low high beam, but COME ON!

@GrandPrixGTP02 chrysler use the 8 speed in pentastar as it's the bigger seller.as chrysler at the moment buy in the 8 speeds.when the chrysler factory is built soon they will make the 8 speed under license (cheaper) them hemis will have them and transverse engines like the Journey will go 9 speed.should start for 2013 models if on time

and another home run for Dodge! I like how they integrated the Climate Controls into the UConnect system, but they kept the manual controls for those who prefer it! and i don't know if you noticed, but they brought back a LOCKABLE Glove Box, and put the Cruise Controls BACK where they BELONG!
