  • Go back about 5 seconds to 1:30 and you got me! OH MY PAUL! WOW!

  • one of my favourite beatles songs.

  • That was a amazing video come on beatles !!

  • take that you office nerds :D

  • 1:35... I've never been so attracted to anyone in my life... 

  • BEATLES NEVER GET OLD! I don't think I have to mention that paul looks really hot in this vid. me like

  • Extraordinary vocal performance by McCartney.

  • SUPER performance!

  • Ringo KILLS this. That snare drum starting at 1:05 is pure magic. And at 1:19! JESUS! That's a rock and roll drummer folks!

  • @Legendofdrey Right you are my good sir!

  • Ringo is a beast when he plays drums. For example, 1:35

  • Mosh !!

  • 1:35 Ringo's special auehuaehuaeh

  • is the microphone that is spit or spitting paul into the microphone??

  • Paulgasm...

  • they all got paid off blacks

  • @4realpeepl Their music in the early 60s were influenced by black music, In the same way black music was influenced by the Irish. Plus, Th beatles made way btter music in the late 60s which WASN'T influenced by black music. Saying that I would like to add that being black has nothing to do with music or how good you are, Who ever says something like Elvis stole music from the black man, Is wrong and a racist.

  • @MunisAwesome Huh..I read about "better than something other" in many comments on youtube...Listen guys, music is no formula 1.. ie a cover made 1001st time MAY still be good. Hard to accept it if you do not feel it, eh? Who are you to judge what was better and what worst 50 years ago anyway? It is rock'n roll man, not Absurdistan Has an Idol.. Anyhow skin color does not matter I agree.

  • @xtandixi That is kinda true, But most people would agree that musicians that play overly repetitive music and hasn't changed at all within it's genre isn't as good as a musician who creates his own style of music.

  • I love the beatles

  • THey really are the best, aren't they?

  • One thing.... The best band in the world The Beatles.

  • @U567715157733E How? They STOLE this from Little Richard LOL

  • Thats rock and roll

  • geez, looks like Keith Moon stole Ringo's moves!

  • Little Richard much better ...

  • magic my ass

  • The best rocking roll band the world had the blessing to grow up with I was blessed to grow up in that time period... Ringo must have let loose on this song that's for sure. Great Vid.. thanks for putting it up.. brought back many memories

  • Which year was this concert?

  • @videogiver1 1964 after they played Ed Sullivan for the first time.

  • This is magic... very entertaining

  • Ringo was insane. Couldn't take my eyes off him. (Idiot cameraman- took his eye off Ringo) So glad Ringo came to the Beatles. Amazing drummer, not to mention- calm, down to earth, rhythm crazy, smiling & a real comedian. We really lucked out with our 4 Beatles. They're unbelievable.

  • Damn Ringo went crazy. This is such an amazing performance. They are all rocking out so hard xD

  • wait a minute....they say there are thousands of demons. Rigo was possesed by...which one??? OMG>..........who said he didn't play well??

  • @victorero2006

Ringo was possed with the first Thrash Metal/Headbanging angel! :D

  • I'll describe what I did for the past two minutes:

    Dropped my jaw.

    Melted.

    Fell off my chair.

  • @chairsandtables123 Oh, same. But I had a Beatle-gasm, peed a little, cried I think, and saluted.

  • Ringo the best gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • holy crap! go ringo go!

  • Now we know why Rory Storm and the Hurricanes were never the same after the Beatles stole their drummer.

  • Ringo rules!!!

Paul sings his butt off.I think this band may go places!!!!!hahahahaha

  • Ringo invented headbanging! :)

  • who ever said ringo starr cant drum!!!!!

  • RINGO!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is their best concert ever ...

  • great cover!

  • Richie's drum roll at 1:19 sounds like a machine gun! That's how its done.

  • this is rock and roll.

  • Beatles Los amoooo!

  • Ringo's too awesome

  • Ringo is insane!!

  • Waooo very Good Drummer...

  • I just love them..........

  • zep did it better.

  • Ringo is fucking awesome and all you little haters can go die because Ringo rocks the drums like there is no tomorrow

  • I TOLD YOU....... MADDNESS IN DER BRAINS...... but loving it.

  • nice coverr ohhh! The Beatles Always in our minds! :)

  • Paul sings this better than Little Richard ever could.

  • @MeLoDy151416 Of course, of course, of course, of course........simply "The Beatles". Saludos desde la ciudad de México.

  • One of the greatest voices in rock.

  • yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • lol those drums can't handle that level of Ringoness! btw, was that Shea Stadium??? if so, you are one lucky duck!

  • @exil7

If you are talking about the video, this isn't Shea, this is the Washington Coliseum

  • can every one please check out my mates cover of this just type in theshallotsband thanksxx

  • Lord love them and their synchronised bowing and the end of every song. Wish I'd been around back then, my only dilema? Just which one of these gorgeous crumpets to drool over. Hell I'm greedy, I'd take them all!

  • rock it Ringo!!!!!

  • They tuned down a half step. Makes a big difference when you're hittin the high notes. Great version and good quality. Dont think I've heard this at this concert before

  • whoever says ringo isnt a good drummer should suck my dick.

the same for him not being a good singer.

he was just a weird song writer....

  • @ryuman757 Side note, I'll bet you didn't know that Eight Days a Week, a Hard Days Night, and Tomorrow Never Knows were all written based on Ringo's sayings. I'd compare the Beatles without Ringo to Thanksgiving without the candied sweet potatoes/yams...he wasn't essential to the technical sound of the band, but he gave them that "punch." added lots to the image, and, yes, he happens to be a human metronome of a drummer who knew exactly when to show off.

  • @theatlantisrise "Pete Best is a good drummer, but Ringo is a good Beatle" ~John Lennon~

I guess that sums up the second thing u said lol

  • @theatlantisrise

/"Ringo has established himself with a sound that was quite unique and is the best rock drummer in the world. " And "One of the best things about Ringo was how he flowed, he listened to his pals and picked up the tempo. His playing, when you hear him working with Paul on bass and the other guys on guitars, has soul. It was just remarkable.” Sir George Martin

  • 1:19 ... MK -46 SPW Paratrooper Model.

  • I LOVE THAT SONG AND BEATLES MY NUMMBER 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:04 the best drummer and guitarist ever....

  • Comment removed

  • their version and paul's voice. amazing. the best cover of long tall sally ever since it was written.

  • Ringo made them the world class live band at that time! So simple but having some kind of groove. It is very similar role of the drummer, Yukihiro Takahashi, Yellow Magic Orchestra as the early Techno live band in'79 and '80.

  • BFFB : )

  • love it such a great cover !

  • Does the camera guy not realize what ringo is doing at 1:35??

  • @IFantasticMrFoxI yeah, ringo starts killin' it and the camera just moves away. Haha. Man, I thought this was such a cool song and such a hilarious comment that I stopped writing my term paper to say this. Let me know if you find any clips of ringo killin it again, cuz just the sheer amount that his platform was shakin was awesome. Such a fantastic band.

  • @IFantasticMrFoxI i don't get it

  • Comment removed

  • @toothfairy30 haha

  • Ringo keeps time like a Swiss watch.

  • Ugh... it seems like everytime they have video of this song, the camera person always looks away when Ringo starts to do his awesome drumming near the end...

  • The Beatles were the real deal and nothing shows this any better than this old video! They could and would...rock it baby! Paul rocks the house with his vocal and Ringo hits those drums like a nut case,;George and John gettin' down too.

  • The way Ringo in pounding on those drums I am surprised they dont tip over. 0_0 Awesome drumming Ringo!

  • Ringo invented headbanging here at 1:35. i love him to death.

  • @dasredtelephone

Yeah. Wish they would have kept the camera on him there. He was going nuts.

  • i could watch this over and over and over and over and never get tired of pauls SEXY voice

  • john lennon invented the headbanging @ 1:36

  • 0:51 !!!

  • They should have kept the camera on Ringo at 1:35 cause he is fuckin' insane!

  • @VideoGameMonkey See Beatles at Drop In Sweden......Ringo does same there ! x

  • Ringo..... what i can to say???? no words!!!!!!

  • ALL EYES ON RINGO!!! HE MADE THAT CONCERT!!

  • They should've put the camera on Ringo while he was doing his awesomeness.

  • This was pure epicness.

  • Ringo looks great in this music

  • I love their louder screams towards the end with Paul and his 'yeah yeah yeah yeahhh!'. I'd be going crazy too!

  • the way Paul sings words "wooo baby" gives me the goose-flesh.........

  • As solid as this performance was, I just Picture Little Richard in a Backwoods Georgia Bar in the 50's rocking this out on an old Piano and people dancing. CCR's version is pretty nice too. Cheers.

  • Phenomenal job from Paul. Times like 0:51 show this!

  • Little Richard called McCartney the best white screamer he's ever heard!!!

  • @BeatleJim55 LOL!! I believe he's right! Paul's voice gets really sexy in this song... and no disrespect to Little Richard intended, but the Beatles just kicked his butt all up and down the street on this number. Never heard anybody do this song better than they did, live or on the album version. IT. JUST. ROCKS.

  • The crowd are going insane!

  • Not comparable to little richard though :<

  • Paul is hot. End of story.

  • Wow Ringo really gave this song something special! The only thing I miss, are the vocals of the creator of the song himself, the one and only Little Richard!!!

  • @smitske1990 Interest, because there is an interview with Little Richard where he actually says Paul sings this song better than anyone, including himself. But everyone is welcome to their own opinion :)

  • @DizzySaxophone

I know that. But in my opinion nobody can replace the voice of 'the Queen of Rock 'N' Roll' himself...

  • Ringo was the best , ringo is the best , ringo will allways be the best

  • @konstanz2012 IMO, you're right. Ringo was the best. If you look at the huge spectrum of music styles and arrangements the Beatles recorded, there are very few rock drummers of the day who could have done what he did. Keith Moon?...human thrashing machine. Charlie Watts?....... some, but not all. Bobby Elliot?...probably some. The Beatles used bits of Spanish music, Cuban mambo, reggae, Hindustani, Bakersfield country, Carl Perkins (George's idol) Smokey Robinson. I've run out of room here.

  • @zoomustard Your right, what a lot of Ringo critics don't seem to acknowledge is how many different styles of music he can play. We keep hearing how much better people like Keith Moon and John Bonham were than Ringo and while they were excellent drummers and they might be better than Ringo at what they do, are there many examples of them playing in different styles? Also, Ringo played on Moon's solo album and Moon knew more about drumming than Ringo's armchair critics do.

  • Kill Whitey

  • I can't believe the flimsy set up that Ringo's kit was on. It shook so much it seemed like it was about to collaspe at any moment. You would think that as big as the Beatles had already become they could have had a better stage set up than they did.

  • @kentaappel I had the same Gretch kit when I was 14 (1966) It was just different then. Everything the Beatles had on stage probably came with them on their plane. It wasn't like concerts today. I saw Yes in 1970 ( I think ) and they powered their PA with 4 Crown 300A amplifiers. I have a 300A powering my home stereo today.

  • @kentaappel They should have performed on a better stage and they could have given Ringo a bigger drum set like Keith Moon's for this type of performance.

  • Fucking crazy

  • how about Pauls Rock n roll voice what a vocal...!!!!!

  • ringo is KING

  • ringo's the most underrated drummer ever.

  • Check Ringo out @ 1:35!!!

  • at the 60s or 50s or 70s no body can drum like ringo starr

  • Ringo kicks ass big time in this one...

  • Fuck me, look at Ringo go at 1.35!

  • Bliss

  • This proves that when the beatles were out there they could rock harder than anyone else on the planet. I mean they going to town on this one lol

  • found this on college underground radio from toronto, posting for typing tunes :) linda randall

  • ringo's going freaking nuts!

  • hey man ... this is real rock

  • Man, I wish that The Beatles were magical aliens who never aged so I could see them. This performance was friggin' great!

  • Little Richard is soooo better!

  • @Myajackson1996 : the beatles and little richard were friends and was on a gruop, that happened in 1963 when the beatles had permission to sing little richard's song and little richard accepted. And in the 60's little richard was watching the beatles singing this song and when little richard was being interviewed he said ''the beatles sang it more wonderfull than me'' he said.

  • @Myajackson1996 : and you also have to know that the beatles was the best band in the world no. 1 including john lennon and paul mccartney

  • @Myajackson1996 The Beatles - Long Tall Sally (live). See that video

  • Little Richards better!

  • This shows that even during beatlemania they could rock hard.

  • i think this video dismisses anyone who says that ringo was not a good drummer.........even the fact that he was a beatle should answer that question!!!!

  • @ewanrchrdsn Ringo is a great drummer. Just listen to songs like Strawberry Fields Forever, She Said She Said, Rain, A Day In The Life, Yer Blues, Ticket To Ride, Yer Blues, I Me Mine, etc.

  • @Xmenfan246 thats what i mean

  • They sound so fucking good live against all those screams, thats how you know they were perfect.

  • How many people sang this song?!

  • Just ONE microphone! And they still ROCK!

  • John picks up his pick up at 1:21 cuz that's how hard he was rockin'

  • john picks up his dropped pick at 1:55 because he's been rocking that hard.

  • those poor drums! lol

  • nobody will ever beat The Beatles. I mean seriously.

    LOVE ALL FOUR OF YOU!

  • @irishmusicalgurl1216 not as good as little richard the original performer of the song but still very good by the beatles

  • Ringo is rocking out lol

  • I feel bad for those drums...

  • Ringo's best tracks IMO, This song, Rain, Strawberry Fields Forever, Oh! Darling etc, Ringo really got creative with his drumming after he started smoking weed.

  • Amazing performance! It is very close of the LP version. Ringo and especially Paul are fantastic. This song is one of the most representative of the energy of the young band.

  • 1:35 I love how they just catch fire here!

  • During the singing breaks they all watch Ringo.

  • Paul Mccartney is the most underrated singer ever.

  • @tettestagg Paul was the grunge vocals of the 60's

  • @blake50785 The Who, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones...Paul wasn't the only one.

  • @tettestagg WTF are you talking about!? hes one of the most famous singers ever

  • @Donutsmasher1 I don't understand how Paul McCartney is underrated. LOL! He's widely considered a legend.

Want to know someone who is really underrated? Marc Bolan. Listen to his song with T.Rex, Ringo + Elton John called "Children of the Revolution".

  • @tettestagg Joke, yes?

  • @tettestagg what do you mean by that McCartney is the most underrated singer???? he is one of the most popular singer ever

  • @tettestagg dude if one word does not describe the Beatles or any of their members, it is underated..
