Not really rocket science involved in determining that it was slow mo... Plus, I've seen similar hops with both air and hydraulics. Regardless, this thing was specifically built to be beat the hell out of, including the airbag setup.

airbags works with explosives, nothing to do with this. this is just pneumatics. cylinders with oil = hydraulic, very strong, concrete crunching, but very slow. cylinders with air = pneumatic, less strong but a lot quicker. hydraulics wont be fast enough for this.
