If you look up the planeswalker for Esper, you'll understand exactly how unfair this plane can be. Several of the creatures are small (makes since given 2/3 of the colors in it are know for making control-type weenies), however, if you manage to drop Tezzeret the Seeker and use his -5 ability, that's a world of hurt for your opponent as your little 1/1 artifact wizards and such become 5/5. Note Tezzeret doesn't specify NONCREATURE cards like March of the Machines and cards like it have before.
