What Ford has done to the Lincoln is so sad. They basically rebadged the Taurus into a MKX or Z or what ever. No more Town Car how sad. Lincoln can't seem to make a competitive luxury car that complete with a Lexus or Infinity.
@cAdillac718bx im a ford fan.. but i do like the impalas lol i really want to see what chevy is bringing too. It damn near sucks tho the 2013 SHO's will NOT have a power boost(they will have a stronger high performance tranny cooler tho if that counts to performance lol)
@ftffighter lol a cooler transmission could lead to quicker precise shifts.. the tranny in the taurus/mks was actually a joint project by gm and ford.. lol yea the 2014 impala i hear will heavily take styling from the previous generation audi a6 with probably some 96 impala styling and a camaro nose with some 2013 malibu.. if u watch the "100 years of chevy" they actually show the clay model for a brief second they didnt say it was the impala but it looked similar to an audi
I have a 90 taurus and I love it. I think I am going to go out and get me a new SHO. 3.5L V6 twin turbo 400 hp all wheel drive 6 speed automatic transmission but I would want it in manual transmission. Ohhh Yeah baby.
@jaffacake1578 Well I'm sorry, but I really dont see how a car based on a 98 Volvo S80 platform and thrown together in Detroit can possibly compare with any BMW/Audi/Merc. Now if it was a Ford of Europe product .....
@rickerbycourt well i'm sorry, but just because it's not built in Germany doesn't mean to say it's bad... and it's not built on the s80 platform anymore... Ford has disowned Volvo. if you judge a car that you haven't even driven yet and by where it's built, then that tells me that you have some of the stupidest old-fashioned perceptions of ford...

as a gm fan.. i like the new front fascia, these cars are fast, excited to see what chevy brings to the table for the impala in 2014
