What I find really strange is the fact that I actually craved listening to this song. I briefly listened to it on accident a couple of days ago and didn't think much of it. Silly me then searched through all of my YouTube history just to get my fix. This band is absolutely great, everyone fits in perfect. The bass is just completely insane, the drums so energetic and fun. The keyboardist flowing through as that guitar lays that pop in your head with female vocals to tie it all together? Awesome!

@zerverize To be fair, most Japanese music is also incredibly bad. Tokyo Jihen/Shiina Ringo are my favorite artist(s) in the world, but I'll still openly admit that 99% of Japanese music is shitty. I'd actually say that overall America has more good artists than Japan, even though my favorite artist happens to be Japanese.

Is she ever my favorite, though! Every since back in high school (24 now), I've never once wavered from them being Number One.

USA main stream music is also heavily influenced by producers and record companies and also the difference in cultures.

@zerverize Most of the stuff there is just as influenced by record companies as in the US; almost every single boy/girl band member was raised to be a pop star from a very young age, and most pop stars are used heavily to market various products, star in dramas, etc. The US also has a much more developed "indie" music scene due to facebook, myspace, etc. Fewer Japanese use PCs (cell phones instead).
