  • Well I think we would all agree that there are a lot of problems to address. I still feel though that the number one item on the list should be a reform to democracy/voting/party funding ect.../recall measures. Any and all measures taken to fix this broken congress/system. Once that is done "the people" can get busy with voting/debating fixing all the other problems.: the way it is suppossed to be. I agree with Geralde Celente who is always talking about Direct Democracy.

  • @karveljay Thanks for your comment. I'll put some links in the body of the video description.

  • Oh! thats like saying you should eat dog shit every day then you would appreciate grubs. Just because it's not as bad as Greece yet doesn't mean it wont be there. WE HAVE LOST OUR FREEDOM AND OUR VOICE. We cannont change things for the better until we get our voice back.

  • @karveljay Agreed. Corporate wealth - the greediest few - have co-opted our representation and that is what we are sick of. Even if people are not happy with Obama they should vote for him if just for the chance that there is another Supreme Court vacancy. It's Bush's court that gave us the Citizens United ruling that gives corporations more influence on our elections. Scalia, Roberts and Thomas have all conferred with the billionair Koch brothers. So much for justice being blind.

  • LOOK AT ALL THE FUTURE SOLDIERS.

  • @peerlesslondin Indeed. Lot of money in wars. Look how well the 1% have done by us fighting all these wars. Then see how well the American people have done.

  • I MUST ADMIT AT ONE TIME I REALLY DID NOT LIKE MIKE MOORE. NOW I WONDER WHAT WE WOULD DO WITHOUT HIM!

  • If you lived in Libya would you know how to spell?

  • LOVE you Michael... Thanks for being there!!

  • Michael Moore should live in Cuba or Lybia. Then he would appreciate America.

  • @pgthinker007 Meh. That's true for all Americans. I appreciate Moore's documentaries in support of progressive causes, BUT by being obese he represents part of what is wrong with America. We have been raised to be consumer gluttons: ones "who over-indulges in and over-consumes food, drink, or intoxicants to the point of waste." According to some statistics, Americans constitute 5% of the world's population but consume 24% of the world's energy. The 1% want us to be more like India.

  • @Vistamister

Sounds like they are protesting for their own bad habits? :-)

Do not eat junk food if you know its bad for you. Very simple.

  • @pgthinker007 Well, like I said, part of the problem. Preying on bad-habits (and ignorance) and using people keeps the 1% so fat with cash. Why do you think they put nicotine in cigarettes and water (!) in plastic bottles? And at the cost of millions' health and the environment. Mr. Moore was possibly the largest person in this crowd. You don't see too many obese people in Portland because people here are generally more active. I wish him well after his recent knee surgery.

  • @Vistamister I understand your point, but what I am trying to say is that do not eat junky food. I grew up overseas. I know what good food is. I do not eat fast food, and non-organic fruit and vegetables in America. They are so big, if you hit it Michael Moore, you would kill him. What I am trying to say is that do not eat bad food. That’s all. You do not have to waste your time for protesting.

  • good job, Michael.
