here a tip mate : when ever u come across the like curing streets hit the shift back down to the lesser number of that number like 3 back to 2 and hit the e brake and turn the wheel or the controller
reventon speedometer can switch between the aircraft mode or the normal car mode. not in NFS. In real life,i guess to make the designer life easier they use the standard speedometer

I need a Need For Speed that's a continuance of Carbon, no one knows what happened to Cross. Maybe take that as a departing point to start that new game...
ok here's my 2 pence. A real racer will drift occasionally especially when linking up 2 or 3 tight corners or to unsettle the back end and get a better angle into a corner so you can carry more speed through the corners. Its all about carrying as much speed as possible throughout the corners and getting the best run out possible. also its good to unsettle the back end under breaking to help scrub off speed and still achieve the correct angle so you can still hit the apex. Thats my thoughts.
true mate, what i was meaning to say is it is sometimes beneficial to break traction to achieve the correct angles for your corner entrance speed to carry the speed throughout and through the exit of the corner. By this time you have the car pointing in the rite direction so you can just plant it on the exit. But you are correct the car will be slowed down whilst drifting. Its just finding the correct balance of smoothness and car control for each individual track.
Not to mention finding your marks and knowing your entry and exit speeds, and knowing your lines. Not to mention finding the correct yaw angles for each corner. And then there's the split-second timing required to exactly nail each braking/gas/turning point, and feeling for bumps and knowing how and when to correct. All in all, there's just so *much* to do if you really want to be good at this game, which is a lot more than I can say for previous NFS titles. :)
Yeah i must admit the last need for speeds aren't a patch on this. Makes you wonder what took them so long to join up with the grand turismo format but good on them for it because that undercover game was crap.
They went arcade after the first NFS, and they thought that was better. They had it good for a while there, until they started trying to add plots to the games, and after Most Wanted, it just kind of went downhill. Then, they did ProStreet, which was a complete piece of sh*t with THE WORST plot of ALL of them, and they went back to the arcade market for a brief while with Undercover, then threw out the plot and just went pure-sim for SHIFT, and it works remarkably well IMO.

First, Need For Speed is now on the Tracks, but look at the video, still is an ARCADE game.
Second, play with a Reventon with these colors? No Way, its like and Stealth Fighter, so should be black and with the Aircraft HUD.

its different from previous need for speed games this is hard core racing the graphics in this game are amazing but in a way i still miss the whole street racing circuit but this is fun i like it

ok here's my 2 pence. A real racer will drift occasionally especially when linking up 2 or 3 tight corners or to unsettle the back end and get a better angle into a corner so you can carry more speed through the corners. Its all about carrying as much speed as possible throughout the corners and getting the best run out possible. also its good to unsettle the back end under breaking to help scrub off speed and still achieve the correct angle so you can still hit the apex. Thats my thoughts.

true mate, what i was meaning to say is it is sometimes beneficial to break traction to achieve the correct angles for your corner entrance speed to carry the speed throughout and through the exit of the corner. By this time you have the car pointing in the rite direction so you can just plant it on the exit. But you are correct the car will be slowed down whilst drifting. Its just finding the correct balance of smoothness and car control for each individual track.

Not to mention finding your marks and knowing your entry and exit speeds, and knowing your lines. Not to mention finding the correct yaw angles for each corner. And then there's the split-second timing required to exactly nail each braking/gas/turning point, and feeling for bumps and knowing how and when to correct. All in all, there's just so *much* to do if you really want to be good at this game, which is a lot more than I can say for previous NFS titles. :)

Yeah i must admit the last need for speeds aren't a patch on this. Makes you wonder what took them so long to join up with the grand turismo format but good on them for it because that undercover game was crap.

They went arcade after the first NFS, and they thought that was better. They had it good for a while there, until they started trying to add plots to the games, and after Most Wanted, it just kind of went downhill. Then, they did ProStreet, which was a complete piece of sh*t with THE WORST plot of ALL of them, and they went back to the arcade market for a brief while with Undercover, then threw out the plot and just went pure-sim for SHIFT, and it works remarkably well IMO.
