Going by the musical evidence, judging by the style and the fact that Yard is playing tenor here, I would guess this was recorded sometime around late 1942 or 1943. Parker was playing Tenor in the Earl Hines' big band during this time period. I sounds like early Dizzy also, as his style is not quite fully formed. About a year later, when Billy Eckstine left the Hines band to form his own big band, Parker played alto in Eckstine's band.
