@laterr2 You don't know the mechanics if you just look at logs that way. You don't know how the bar affects the damage, or how to control (to an extent) the bar.

Either way, you just have to look at the bar and this very vid to understand what happens. It's extremely hard to reproduce indeed, but nowhere near a bug.

@CreepingDawnbringer "10-man".Mixed rankings should never, never be used. Some encounters are harder in 25-man. Some encounters are harder in 10-man. Overall, managing all your roster is infinitely more complex in 25-m, while class composition matters more in 10-m.

Just as you don't mix 2v2 and 3v3 arenas (you need great players for both brackets, but they aren't the same at all), you shouldn't mix 10-m raiding and 25-m raiding.

@dotfry 2 healers, and we had absolutely no available raid cooldowns to get through the elementium bolt. Even with an offspec tranquility (hymn was to be saved for other moments), we just got imploded. =p

And we weren't particularly aware of anyone's strategy when we made that choice, so we're pretty happy of having our own strat which seems to be pretty unique atm :)

@sammythefrost Prismatic and Mastery elixirs. Also using Swordshattering and the avoidance trinket for as much dodge as possible. The usual approach as a tank on this fight is to stack Stamina for Impales, but we quickly figured out that Impales were not threatening to me at all as long as I was stacking good enough Blood Shields, on the other hand the insane amount of magical damage in the end was threatening, esp with our Nozdormu strat.

@neonyoshiegg1408 my assumption in regards to the bolt is that you keep Ysera up and go into the dream when the bolt hits. reduces all damage taken by 50%, so it makes it livable.

@neonyoshiegg1408 The bolt can be easily lived through, if you stand far away it deals <140k~ damage that can be mitigated through the use of cooldowns such as paladin aura CD, though disc is very strong as they can shield everyone with aegis prior to the hit (that's how my group get's through it, at least). assuming people prepare for it, it's not too difficult to deal with.
