  • Hmm, Yes you can visit the washroom when you want, but the leader will call attention to you and 250 people will naturally turn around and look at you.

I participated last weekend and snapped out of the brainwashing when an intrinsic belief of mine was challenged.

I realised that I had given up some level of control.

Great to see the results, but does it justify the means?

Surely if they had something so great to offer,

it could be delivered without sleep deprivation an tearing down of egos.

  • You are allowed to visit the washroom whenever you want, you are not stopped from eating what you want and at the allocated time (no food in classroom or it messes the carpet), chairs impeccably spaced as an expression of integrity. You can leave the room when you want, but if you do you may miss what there is to get becasue if you are not in the room you wont be there to to get whatever there is which will make a difference to you.

  • @standinginnothing I think it gives people some personal feeling of power to criticize/abuse L.E,.Obviously these individuals are still on it about something they're incomplete with from thier past(SykeDoctorate)

  • @SuperIntuitive1

This work makes a real difference in peoples lives and people trying to break it down destroys whats possible for many people who would otherwise have participated but got misled by all the lies and misrepresentation of those who dont get it.

  • Not being able to use the washroom ,n having to eat at a certain time etrc,is simply to get one out of there comfort zone so they can grow. You sound like a big ,spoiled,Crybaby.

  • @usvioletswan It's clear to me these whiners are the ones who stand to benefit the most from getting off it!

  • There must be two different Landmark Forums and I got the "good" one.

  • brainwashing is not a bad thing.just be careful how you reprogram your beliefs your true quintessence comes from within not from some group or guru

  • werner plays a BIG game...most people dont. you get to see how small you play, and then choose to create playing big.. and you dont have to. most like to play small and complain. as Jesus would say "yee have so little faith "

  • it is what it is....

  • If u look at the weird ass vids made by the zombies its obvious lanmark sheeples r going to turn into another Waco, TX

  • Amazing how in even 2009 the sheeple can not see how psychotickly fucked they are.. Yes you "can" use the "restroom" but the second u get up to do so you have the "leader" calling attention to you (along w/ 200+ strangers) asking why u find it necessary to disrupt the "forum" to use the restroom

  • "you clearly are filled with anger and lack self confidence. Something from your past has hurt you"

And tell me foodconsult, what school of psychology did you go to?

I've read hundreds of comments all over YouTube on Landmark. Some liked it, some didn't. No surprise. But what's clear is that those who liked it just can't accept that some didn't - and they feel those who didn't like it MUST have something wrong with them (just like foodconsult). LM is not for everyone, OK? Geeez!!

  • "...if you are a "rebel" in your life, you are probably going to rebel in the Forum...and that's what the program is designed for. Then you get to see that YOU are the source of what you are rebelling against."

You are the source of your experience of life, which is refreshing.

  • Thank you for posting this video and exposing some of the more controversial practices inherent in this Large Group Awareness Training company.

  • @gurutruth SykeDoctorate Cult follower!

  • you know what is a good word that goes with draconian... overlord ;)

  • If sitting close to others is an issue with you then you have something to work on. If you don't like the structure of specific breaks, being on time etc, then Landmark is a must do for you. If you were ever in the Military you would appreciate Authority. You get pushed beyond what you could ever imagine is possible. It is called creating Possibilty! Stop living from your Past which will keep you from moving forward!

  • You should read the book, "On Killing" by Dave Grossman. In it he reveals the classical conditioning methods the military uses to make men into killing machines, and how they are taught to over-ride a natural instinct in man to not kill other humans. Soldiers are coming back from Iraq traumatized precisely because of senseless killing, overriding their own human nature. The military conditioning itself is a form of profound trauma.

  • The Landmark Forum is a course on how to get out of your own head (which, most of us have noticed, is not how the vast majority of the population lives). Yes, the chairs are alongside one another...so you can talk to the person next to you! You will only find that "draconian" if you aren't used to talking with other human beings. The program is strictly regimented for a purpose...most people have problems with authority, so the Forum is designed to bring up that "stuff" in a safe setting.

  • "Most people have problems with authority"? And LM is a "safe setting" to bring that stuff up? How is that safety established? By maniplation? BTW, Gandhi was resistant to authority, too. Are you saying authority should not be questioned? From what I understand, you can talk to the person next to you under very specific and controlled conditions. There is no real free exchange of ideas. What does "get out of own head" mean?

  • There's nothing wrong with questioning authority. It is just that one of the "breakthroughs" to be had in the Landmark Forum is to give up the need to be in control and experience what that's like. People relate to Landmark the way they do to their lives, which is why this works. So if you are a "rebel" in your life, you are probably going to rebel in the Forum...and that's what the program is designed for. Then you get to see that YOU are the source of what you are rebelling against.

  • Landmark was money well spent. I love to travel, eat well, enjoy life and i really got my moneys worth from all the courses workshops and time I spent at Landmark. No regrets. Brother, sister and more friends than I can list has similiar experiences. I have one friend who hated it with a passion but that is life. I recommend it.

  • well, that makes it all right, then.

  • oh and another thing, the Doctor got all that he got and now brings to his work precisely becasue he did not get hung up on the bathroom, the seats, and whatever essentially trivial stuff you used to build your massive wall of resistance. Draconian? I think your world could use a little shaking up!

  • Dood!! You NEED a good brainwashing. It's really muddy in there!

  • if you dont dig something in america, it's brainwashing. america is filled with this dumb ass elitist attitude of " well, i dont do it or know about it...it must be a conspiracy against me." self centered assholes with no life.

ps..i dont goto landmark, but i dont diss on people who do. so go find your life americans!

  • wow! are you an alien? Landmark is definately not brainwashing, I loved what it had to offer!!!

  • Your right is not brainwashing, its mind control. Out of interested what do you know about Jack Rosenberg?

  • Wow, this guy can't even tie words or ideas together. My friend, a little brainwashing for you, i.e. some education and training, would not hurt you.

  • Now you are taking piss, which is more than you can do during a session.

  • The landmark forum was one of the funnest weekends Ive ever had. Besides...do you know how many chicks there are for you to meet.hahaha..It was great!

  • This is rediculous. It is absurd to call Landmark Education any type of brain washing. The focus is on making your own decisions, your own choices, creating new possibilities and expanding your life so that it works in a way that your life is improved.

  • Brain washing isn't the correct term, its mind control. Brain washing implies mindless zombies, to which you are clearly not, there isn't a cult in the world that wants mindless zombies, mindless zombies are no good to them. However they do want control over your life, money and your friends. In the words of Brian Cohen "DON'T LET ANY BODY TELL YOU WANT TO DO OTHERWISE ARRRGGGHHH!"

  • I'll completely dispute your video. There was no draconian restriction on what to eat during the breaks or getting up. Drinks in the sessions are restricted to water to preserve the carpet. It had a profound positive impact on every aspect of my life. In every cult I ever heard of, choice is removed. My Forum created choice for my life. Beforehand, I was extremely skeptical. Now, I can say it was the best program I've ever done and my brain has never been so unwashed!

  • I'm glad they're so carpet friendly.

  • Which unfortunately is exactly what they have done to you. BTW when you refer to 'transform' or 'transformation' you're referring to a process of MIND CONTROL which is called snapping.

  • When I went to the Forum, water was available in the back of the room which you could drink at any time. You are permitted to go to the bathroom, but it is discouraged due to the importance of the subjects discussed. Yeah chairs are placed close together, but unless you're claustrophobic or sociophobic, this is no big deal. I'm pretty sure Draco did a lot worse, my friend.

  • It's also designed like that to create the intensity and stress to prevent the mind from functioning properly and allowing for mind control tactics to begin its first phase. Not unlike the tactics used to gain mind control over the US serviceman.

  • What intensity? What stress? It was a relaxed environment for me. The Forum does not destroy your ability to think critically. It allows you to put your critical thinking into its proper context.

  • Nice try, unfortunately I have 13 years experience to tell me otherwise. The Volunteers stand in front of the exits, toilets breaks are restricted, and friends family members are split up, the prey are then bullied and humiliated into confessing (hence the term confession cult). The Captives are then released for the intensity and stress giving them a state of joy which they believe is from the information given them. This is similar tactic used on the US servicemen, crude but effective.

  • Like I said, it was a perfectly comfortable environment for me. You are offering reasons why my experience is not valid or impossible. I'm not trying to convince you that your reality is not real. I'm simply reporting my own reality. There was no single incident of bullying. Period. Nobody limited bathroom breaks or stood in front of the door. The staff member are among the most warm, genuine people I've ever met. I really don't see the negative spin.

  • So what do I say now, that you're a lair, you're deluded? I suspect you're a bit of both, but mainly deluded. One level you think that your telling it straight, but on another your telling yourself that its your duty to help people by doing the best you can to get them to go to landmark even through they're going to be abused by the system chosen. This is classic case of MIND CONTROL.

  • Ok. I'm a liar and I'm deluded. I'm making everything up.

  • Let's not take your word for it. Go to my page and to my website link and watch 'Journey to the land of the New Gurus'. And find out for yourselves exactly what goes on in Landmark Education. Also how can you trust someone like Jack Rosenberg who raped his teenage daughter and declared to the family that he gave her a nurturing experience, not mention the actual process which is a mixture of Mind Dynamics and Scientology?

  • criticizing Landmark does not make your experience impossible, silly.

Landmark goes to great effort to hire the most charismatic and articulate leaders that they can. if you can believe in the leaders you can believe in Landmark, which suits its agenda of expansion and profit very will.
