  • It's interesting as an artificial composition. Natural aesthetics or themes don't have what humans would consider precision or symmetry. That is part of what makes organic compositions appealing.

It is fascinating as a piece of machinery, but i'm not sure people will read it as art over more of a feat of expert mechanical engineering.

  • I see where you're coming from, but at the same time, which compositions are appealing is a very personal thing. I personally find two sides to myself- a side that is attracted to organic forms, such as brush strokes, film grain, natural organisms, and human features. At the same time, I can also understand the beauty in precision. I most certainly see what this man does as art, because I find beauty in the way it moves. The smooth and fluid action of the motion is a result of the precision.

  • @jyciusvid I'm with you on this one. I think it's gorgeous stuff! To say that it is no more than a feat of engineering is to deny the inherent beauty of the shape, form, materials, color, and motion.

  • your engine is a nice piece of art or masterpiece, i'm trying to build my first engine but not successful at all, but i'm keep on trying, i'll keep on watching your vid so i can have an inspiration for perfecting my own engine someday, but i think i can't have my own machine shop, it's too expensive here, but i'll try my best in doing it, nice and beautiful engine...10/10...IDOL.............................

  • I used to work to those tolerances every day at work , nice models mate . well done !!!!
