@RottenRroses Actually the Popularity of "Cars"{ is more from the Short "Cars" featurette videos shown on The Disney Channel called "Cars Toons". One is released ever month or so; Including "Mater the Greater", "The Materdor" "Monster Truck Wrestling" and many more. These Pixar "Shorts" are VERY CLEVER and well written. This is the Driving Force behind all this licensed merchandise.
