  • Bravo !!!

  • Thx! helped me a lot to learn the groove!

  • well done !

  • Nicely done, and GREAT tone too!! Got my vote!

  • excellent technique. when caron plays it live, it's up in the 130-140 range, stupidly fast - almost too fast, but perfect of course.

  • say that looks like a 34 inch scale is it?

  • Salut le sebu,

    Très instructive l'étude de D-Code :)

Merci et à bientôt sur Onlybass.

  • is easy mode only pop!!

  • finally some one who can play.merci beaucoup.

  • kick ass

  • GO BUY ALAIN CARON'S ALBUM PLAY RIGHT NOW !!!

    get some uzeb too

  • Good Work !!!

  • thank you.

  • does alain caron use the up & down thumb motion like wooten?

  • yes, it's the same way but the using is different

  • victor wootens technique is a little more rigid and he uses his thumb kind of like a pick - he goes thru the string then comes back up with his fingernail all the while his thumb is basically parallel to the string. Alain Caron's is more like Larry Grahams. They hit the string at an angle, going "thru" the string but still getting that percussive "bounce" slap sound (like Flea or Stu Zender) then scoop the thumb back up to get a similar sound even though he's using his nail on the up-stroke.

  • Super la bass, et super comment tu joue aussi.

    Vraiment cool.

  • Alain Caron is awesome...wikked playin dude!!!

  • Awesome! Thanks. Could you do the little melody parts in between?

  • Sure, as soon as I can...Thanks for the comments!!

  • @LeSebu Where did you find the track for exercise yourself?

  • awsome groove

  • nice bass men
