The FGM Act prohibits genital mutilation of girls. The 14th amendment requires equal protection under the law of ALL regardless of gender. It is the responsibility of the Chief Executive to act on this and get the law enforced in full compliance with the Constitution and its amendments.
When men of 18 yrs age were allowed to vote because of their lives being put at risk due to selective service, women also got the same privilege by the 14th amendment.
The practice of MGM [also] in this country [ the USA ] violates numerous laws and international treaties, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention Against Torture, the Constitution and Penal-Law.
It is in violation of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, which GUARANTEES EQUAL-PROTECTION for both girls AND boys under the law.
The Dutch Medical Association recently updated their policy in light of all the latest findings. They condemn routine circumcision. Their policy states:
"KNMG is calling upon doctors to actively and insistently inform parents who are considering the procedure of the absence of medical benefits and the danger of complications."
@Maegen100 FGM is absolutely a violation of human rights; that's why it's illegal to perform in ~94% of the world. But PEPFAR isn't supporting FGM; it's endorsing male circumcision, a non-therapeutic, entirely cosmetic surgery with no proven health benefits. Shouldn't boys as well as girls be protected from invasive and harmful genital mutilation?
What a dreadful thing to watch. Demented Americans with a cheap promotion for a vile act with apparent reasons that are pure lies (an American virtue) in a nasty attempt to justify the mutilation of other people. This disturbed and deranged attitude towards anything related to sex in the US, following the advice of sick and deranged individuals such as a mr kellog, is a horrendous and massively sickening thing to witness. I stare in awe at these ill informed vile low end cheap and stupid people
It is absolutely disgraceful that educated people, working in government, actually think that circumcision is effective against HIV. Have they even evaluated the studies? They were so unscientific, that they should be referred to as self-fulfilling prophecy.
More, scientific studies have shown that Female Genital Mutilation has a 50% reduction in HIV acquisition in women. Similarly, circumcision increases female acquisition by 50%, so we'd have to mutilate women to balance the HIV rate.
@thegoatboy69 cir reduced HIV by 50% in AUS when not everyone was cut. If 100% of the population was cut it may have reduced HIV by more than 50%. Since AUS stopped cir males HIV has doubled since 1998.
@MacHead31 And, of course you can show some evidence for this? You can show how a child born in 1998 has a higher chance of acquiring HIV. Oh...wait a minute.....he'd only be 13.
Or how about we look at figures which show that the majority of Aussie HIV cases originate in high risk places like AFRICA. Then we look at the rates which must obviously show a steady increase from a very low rate in the the 80's when more Australians were circumcised. Continued-
@thegoatboy69 No. cir rates where high in 1960-1968 in AUS. Then years later in 1998 few males got HIV. I do have stats to show for this. You apparently have a lot of research to do before you can make any valid argument and until you do so you opinions are useless to me.
@MacHead31 Part 2- Well what a surprise. The rate in 1988 was 1,221. The rate for 2009 was 909. So we actually have a long term decrease. with a low around 1998. This sounds like you have cherry picked what years to look at.
As I mentioned before, "Sixty percent of cases of infection attributed to heterosexual contact were in people from high prevalence countries or their sexual partners." 10% originally diagnosed overseas. Is it perhaps possible that you are looking at very limited research?
@thegoatboy69 I am not cherry picking anything. Look at the percent of males who where cut/uncut at those times. Keep this is mind: The average age of HIV to be diagnosed is between 35-39. I have evidence for that fact as well incase you want to see it.
90% of males were cut in 1960. So around the year 1995-1999 is when we should expect to see the lowest drop of HIV and guess what? WE DO!
@MacHead31 A couple of problems here. Average age of diagnosis is not age of acquisition.
I do disagree with your 90% in 1960, as all figures pre-1970's are speculative in Australia and may only reflect neo-natal circumcision, completely missing out those who emigrated there (in high numbers) post-war, from intact Europe. The peak time for neo-natal circumcision appears to be 84-90% in 1950-1955, so they would be in your high risk age group in 1988-1990- the highest HIV figures.
@thegoatboy69 EVERY medical organization in the world recognizes that male cir is a way to prevent HIV. To say that it doesn't is like saying that creationism is better than the theory of evolution. We have a clear understanding of the virus. The evidence is getting stronger and stronger and you must be in denial or a complete buffoon to reject it. I am not encouraging routine infant cir, but that is no reason to deny the truth.
@MacHead31 Now this is just completely untrue. Not every medical organisation in the world recognises this. Can you show me a study done in the developed world that shows an Absolute Risk reduction in HIV acquisition with circumcision? Even a Relative Risk Reduction? I'll give you a clue, there isn't one. All studies done in the developed world show no statistical relationship.
What of the medical associations that actually say that non-therapeutic circumcision should not be done?
@MacHead31 We are understanding the virus much better as time goes by. To that end, and your great research , please tell me what mechanism allows a greater acquisition rate in intact male penises? You say you have the evidence, so tell me?
Comparing this to the creationism vs evolution (they're not in conflict as evolution says nothing about the origins of the universe) is fallacious. If you want to tell me that there are some flawed African studies that show a relationship, that's fine, cont
@MacHead31 But, you cannot used flawed studies to say that they are true for the rest of the world.
You then also have to accept the studies which show an increase in risk of women with circumcised males acquiring HIV and that women who have been genitally mutilated have a reduced risk of HIV acquisition. The RRR for circumcised men is the same percentage as the increase for women acquiring it, negating any population effect.
@thegoatboy69 If your having problems with the AUS evidence I gave you, make a graph. The flaw in your argument is that you are considering only one year when you compared 1988 vs 1995. Mark where the peaks are in your graph and you will notice a inversely trend (cir rate goes down; HIV goes up).
Now. Name me one medical organization that does NOT recognize the issue of HIV and male cir. I can name you at least 3 off the top of my head that are aware of this; I will wait for your list 1st.
@MacHead31 Stop cherry picking. Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies. Tell me the mechanism of acquisition that increases the risk with a foreskin. Address the higher risk to women.
I'm comparing only one year? So funny. I was using it to show how your figures are one sided by your looking at 1998 as your starting point without looking at the earlier years from which there was a drop.
@thegoatboy69 I am not cherry picking anything. Make a graph. Do I have to make the graph for you and email it to you?
>Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies.< I do not know what you mean by this. Which studies? What country? What are you talking about?
As for you other point. MAKE A GRAPH! The graph will tell it all. Don't use 1998 as your starting point use another point. The result will be the same.
@MacHead31 Perhaps you should make a graph. Circ rate was higher in the 50's and yet in the late 80's when there should have been more protection, according to you, the HIV acquisition rate was at its highest.
As to the medical organisation, try the KPMG also known as the Royal Dutch Medical Association. Are others aware of the studies in Africa- yes. Do they recommend circumcision- NO. There is no medical association in the world that recommends circumcision.
@thegoatboy69 From the Royal Dutch Medical Association:
>such as a possibly reduced risk of HIV infection, it is reasonable to put off circumcision until the age at which such a risk is relevant and the boy himself can decide about the intervention, or can opt for any available alternatives.<
The Royal Dutch Medical Association recognizes that the HIV-cir issue is legit. Sorry try again.
What other points? I didn't understand what your last comment.
@MacHead31 So, let me get this straight. You think that "a possibly reduced risk of HIV infection" means that they recognise it as a way to reduce HIV acquisition. They use "possibly" because it is unproven. There is no scientific theory that proves a protective factor. I asked you to tell me what that is earlier, but you couldn't.
My next post will be the ACTUAL position as put forward in their position paper-
@thegoatboy69 Behavioral factors do play a role after all I will never get in a car wreck if I never get in a car, so why should I buy a seatbelt? Let me see this Dutch situation evidence you talk about. We do have scientific theories of why cir reduces HIV infection and if you don't know it, then you haven't been studying it. Go learn about that one on your own. I will not hold you hand like a baby with how cir reduces the risk of HIV. I gave you AUS stats, that is good enough.
@MacHead31 The " Dutch situation evidence" as you put it is easily found. Go and look at the HIV in Holland and the circumcision rate. The KNMG obviously looked at it, because it was their words that you were reading.
Do you understand that a theory has to be a proven hypothesis that has survived peer review? In terms of an association between HIV and circumcision, not one has survived peer review. The RCTs from Africa did not get published in peer reviewed journals because of all their flaws.
@thegoatboy69 Email me your evidence like I email you. The HIV-cir issue is almost a theory, the evidence is getting stronger and stronger. The KNMG did look at it and they do recognizing that it is possible for preventing HIV. No medical organization recommends against it (see I can cherry pick just like you).
Almost a theory? Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. It is not a theory. It has not passed peer review. It has had years in which to do so, yet it could not. There is no hypothesis to explain the hypothesis that there is a protective factor with circumcision in regards to HIV.
The KNMG recommends against non-therapeutic neo-natal circumcision. Next post will be their short position point on it- cont
@thegoatboy69 Ok look... I am going to hold you baby hand and walk you through this step by step. Tell me how the percentage of males that were cut between the ages of 30-40 years old in 2000. Now tell me how many males where cut between the ages of 30-40 years old in the year 1980.
Here is a hint:
You can not simply look at one year to figure this problem out.
@MacHead31 Have I looked at one year. NO. So how about you actually respond to what I am presenting.
Also what can we show using 1980 when the first diagnosis was not until 1981?
I don't have a figure for 30-40 year-olds that were circumcised, but I can give you the overall population figure for 1980. It was 60% and by 2000 that was down to 48%, and in case you think I'm cherry picking, these were the highest figures I could find.
@thegoatboy69 Looking at one year doesn't tell you much because the age range is 30-40 THAT IS 10 YEARS NOT ONE!!!!!! So looking at one year WILL NOT TELL YOU SHIT!!!!
1980 = 60% cut WHO FUCKING CARES!!!! That is the total number of cut/uncut people LIVING from 1 year old to 100 years old NOT 30-40 years old. That info doesn't tell you anything either!!!!!
@MacHead31 If you think that you have something, prove it. I'm tired of you troll boy. You don't respond to half of the point that I have put to you. You won't give specifics yourself and yet demand everything from me. You asked for the 1980 figure and the 2000 figure. If you don't like it, don't ask for it. If you have specific figures yourself, then give them.
@thegoatboy69 I am not demanding shit from you. I gave you evidence and you claim it is flawed and I am showing you that it is not. LEARN MATH. The evidence is right in front of you if you can not figure it out that is your problem.
@MacHead31 You have posited and idea, but I have shown you that at the time when the highest risk age group had the highest circumcision rates, they had the highest HIV diagnosis rates. The 50's had the highest rate of circumcision, but you are basing it on the 60's,
I also showed you that there are other factors that you should have taken into account, but you refuse to address them. Every single point that you have made, I have responded to, but you have not. Anyone reading this will see that
@MacHead31 The official viewpoint of KNMG and other related medical/scientific organisations is that non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors is a violation of children’s rights to autonomy and physical integrity. Contrary to popular belief, circumcision can cause complications – bleeding, infection, urethral stricture and panic attacks are particularly common. - cont
@MacHead31 KNMG is therefore urging a strong policy of deterrence. KNMG is calling upon doctors to actively and insistently inform parents who are considering the procedure of the absence of medical benefits and the danger of complications.
There you have it. A medical organisation that recommends against it.
If you think that the KNMG recommends it, then quote from their position paper of 27th May 2010. I have it in front of me, so when you quote from it I will be able to tell.
@MacHead31 Since you can't name one scientific theory for this "protective mechanism" shouldn't you just admit that you don't know?
You gave me Australian stats that don't match your claims, because when we look at the statistics for year which should have an even greater protective factor, we see that there wasn't one and that there was in fact a higher number of diagnosed cases.
I also note that you don't mention about MSM vs Heterosexual acquisition. This too needs addressing.
@thegoatboy69 For any medical organization to say that something possibly reduces the risk of getting HIV shows that there is evidence to back up the claim.
@MacHead31 Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies. Tell me the mechanism of acquisition that increases the risk with a foreskin. Address the higher risk to women.
These were the other points, and I have copied and pasted them as i originally put them to you in the other posts here.
@thegoatboy69 Your the one who is cherry picking because when you say "No medical organization recommends cir" your leaving out that no medical organization recommends against it either.
When you only look at one year form the AUS evidence I gave you, your leaving out an entire age group and your only examining one age. More than one age group is having sex in case you didn't know.
Instead of comparing 1950 to 1960 compare 1950, 1955, and 1960 VS 1940, 1945, and 1950 or any group of years.
@MacHead31 The Royal Dutch Medical Association recommends against circumcision. If you don't know this then you have not read their position paper. Google them and the word "circumcision" and it will come up.
I was not looking up one year. I was looking at the figures for a number of years from 1987-2007. Oh and incase you didn't notice, I was comparing 1950, 1955 and 1960 because that was the age range that you specified as the average. If you don't like the debate don't specify the age range
@thegoatboy69 So now tell me this now that you have compared the years 1950-1960. Which set of years has the highest number of cut males and where does that put 30-40 year olds? I do believe that would be around 1998, and guess what! 1998 has the lowest HIV rate!!!!! WOW!
@MacHead31 From that I think that it's not too difficult to see that there is no direct relationship, in Australia, with circumcision and HIV, from a statistical view point.
@thegoatboy69 Yeah I think your right. It just happens that when most males are cut HIV just magically goes down, then when males are not cut HIV goes back up. Crazy.
@thegoatboy69 HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THIS!!!!! GO BACK TO MATH CLASS YOU FUCKING RETARD!!!!!!!! An fucking 12th grader can understand this shit better than you. MAKE A FUCKING GRAPH!!!!!!!!
Nothing but a shameless pitch for increased funding.
Decent and moral people don't advocate for adults inappropriately interfering with children's genitals nor do they promote cutting healthy body parts from children. Circumcision is BOTH of these things and two wrongs never make a right.
Circumcision removes the most sensitive part of a man's penis. The five most sensitive areas of the penis are on the foreskin. The transitional region from the external to the internal foreskin is the most sensitive region of the fully intact penis, and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis.

President Obama, please dont let the republicans talk you into extending the tax cuts to the wealthy!! I know of no one who is in favor of this!! We need another 99 week round of unemployment benefits!!!! People will be on the streets, and our economy will suffer if we do not get the help that all Americans are entitled to!!!! We are out of work, hurting, and no jobs are available!! We still have house payments, credit card debt, utilities!! Please, dont sign tax cut bill without this!!!
Huh, so I guess to some people the judeo-christian religions are a form of triploffie think... to speak of them in such a way ( despite the positive intended outcome) is a display of intellectual dishonesty, or in official white house politics, pandering to the public. I reserve an opinion as to where funds should be directed, due to the fact that I do not know the state of our economy well, and also choose not to vote. I don't vote because I'm justifiably apathetic. Media, "Fed" Reserve, lies..
@fetalbetal "Triple-think" is the word mean [In reference to Orwells '1984' of course]. Also, it's important to mention that I try to understand, and do feel empathy towards those who suffer from AIDS or any illness for that matter. Hopefully we can all overcome our differences and learn to act, do, and think positively. If we accept our limitations and excel at strengths hope remains for the human animal.. science willing. :P
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Here's one thing Democrats and Republicans should be able to agree on. Fighting AIDs and HIV is not a Republican or a Democrat issue. It's an American issue.
AIDS funding is important, yes!! Also, government needs to be taking care of all Americans who are struggling!! The deficit work can come later!! There are millions of people still out of work, so it is the roll of government to make sure these people are taken care of!! We need unemployment benefit extentions!!!! By letting these people fend for themselves will stall exonomic recovery!! Also, funds are needed for Haiti!!!!

@MacHead31 But, you cannot used flawed studies to say that they are true for the rest of the world.
You then also have to accept the studies which show an increase in risk of women with circumcised males acquiring HIV and that women who have been genitally mutilated have a reduced risk of HIV acquisition. The RRR for circumcised men is the same percentage as the increase for women acquiring it, negating any population effect.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 If your having problems with the AUS evidence I gave you, make a graph. The flaw in your argument is that you are considering only one year when you compared 1988 vs 1995. Mark where the peaks are in your graph and you will notice a inversely trend (cir rate goes down; HIV goes up).
Now. Name me one medical organization that does NOT recognize the issue of HIV and male cir. I can name you at least 3 off the top of my head that are aware of this; I will wait for your list 1st.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 Stop cherry picking. Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies. Tell me the mechanism of acquisition that increases the risk with a foreskin. Address the higher risk to women.
I'm comparing only one year? So funny. I was using it to show how your figures are one sided by your looking at 1998 as your starting point without looking at the earlier years from which there was a drop.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 I am not cherry picking anything. Make a graph. Do I have to make the graph for you and email it to you?
>Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies.< I do not know what you mean by this. Which studies? What country? What are you talking about?
As for you other point. MAKE A GRAPH! The graph will tell it all. Don't use 1998 as your starting point use another point. The result will be the same.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 Perhaps you should make a graph. Circ rate was higher in the 50's and yet in the late 80's when there should have been more protection, according to you, the HIV acquisition rate was at its highest.
As to the medical organisation, try the KPMG also known as the Royal Dutch Medical Association. Are others aware of the studies in Africa- yes. Do they recommend circumcision- NO. There is no medical association in the world that recommends circumcision.
Now address all my other points.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 From the Royal Dutch Medical Association:
>such as a possibly reduced risk of HIV infection, it is reasonable to put off circumcision until the age at which such a risk is relevant and the boy himself can decide about the intervention, or can opt for any available alternatives.<
The Royal Dutch Medical Association recognizes that the HIV-cir issue is legit. Sorry try again.
What other points? I didn't understand what your last comment.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 So, let me get this straight. You think that "a possibly reduced risk of HIV infection" means that they recognise it as a way to reduce HIV acquisition. They use "possibly" because it is unproven. There is no scientific theory that proves a protective factor. I asked you to tell me what that is earlier, but you couldn't.
My next post will be the ACTUAL position as put forward in their position paper-
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@MacHead31 Moreover, the studies into HIV prevention were carried out in sub-Saharan Africa, where transmission mainly
takes place through heterosexual contact. In the western world, HIV transmission is much more frequently
the result of homosexual contact and the use of contaminated needles.14 That the relationship between circumcision
and transmission of HIV is at the very least unclear is illustrated by the fact that the US combines
a high prevalence of
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@MacHead31 STDs and HIV infections with a high percentage of routine circumcisions.15 The Dutch
situation is precisely the reverse: a low prevalence of HIV/AIDS combined with a relatively low number of
circumcisions. As such, behavioural factors appear to play a far more important role than whether or not
one has a foreskin.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Behavioral factors do play a role after all I will never get in a car wreck if I never get in a car, so why should I buy a seatbelt? Let me see this Dutch situation evidence you talk about. We do have scientific theories of why cir reduces HIV infection and if you don't know it, then you haven't been studying it. Go learn about that one on your own. I will not hold you hand like a baby with how cir reduces the risk of HIV. I gave you AUS stats, that is good enough.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 The " Dutch situation evidence" as you put it is easily found. Go and look at the HIV in Holland and the circumcision rate. The KNMG obviously looked at it, because it was their words that you were reading.
Do you understand that a theory has to be a proven hypothesis that has survived peer review? In terms of an association between HIV and circumcision, not one has survived peer review. The RCTs from Africa did not get published in peer reviewed journals because of all their flaws.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Email me your evidence like I email you. The HIV-cir issue is almost a theory, the evidence is getting stronger and stronger. The KNMG did look at it and they do recognizing that it is possible for preventing HIV. No medical organization recommends against it (see I can cherry pick just like you).
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 You haven't e-mailed me anything.
Next post will be their short position point on it- cont
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Ok look... I am going to hold you baby hand and walk you through this step by step. Tell me how the percentage of males that were cut between the ages of 30-40 years old in 2000. Now tell me how many males where cut between the ages of 30-40 years old in the year 1980.
Here is a hint:
You can not simply look at one year to figure this problem out.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 Have I looked at one year. NO. So how about you actually respond to what I am presenting.
Also what can we show using 1980 when the first diagnosis was not until 1981?
I don't have a figure for 30-40 year-olds that were circumcised, but I can give you the overall population figure for 1980. It was 60% and by 2000 that was down to 48%, and in case you think I'm cherry picking, these were the highest figures I could find.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Looking at one year doesn't tell you much because the age range is 30-40 THAT IS 10 YEARS NOT ONE!!!!!! So looking at one year WILL NOT TELL YOU SHIT!!!!
1980 = 60% cut WHO FUCKING CARES!!!! That is the total number of cut/uncut people LIVING from 1 year old to 100 years old NOT 30-40 years old. That info doesn't tell you anything either!!!!!
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 If you think that you have something, prove it. I'm tired of you troll boy. You don't respond to half of the point that I have put to you. You won't give specifics yourself and yet demand everything from me. You asked for the 1980 figure and the 2000 figure. If you don't like it, don't ask for it. If you have specific figures yourself, then give them.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 I am not demanding shit from you. I gave you evidence and you claim it is flawed and I am showing you that it is not. LEARN MATH. The evidence is right in front of you if you can not figure it out that is your problem.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 You have posited and idea, but I have shown you that at the time when the highest risk age group had the highest circumcision rates, they had the highest HIV diagnosis rates. The 50's had the highest rate of circumcision, but you are basing it on the 60's,
I also showed you that there are other factors that you should have taken into account, but you refuse to address them. Every single point that you have made, I have responded to, but you have not. Anyone reading this will see that
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Anyone who makes a graph people infected with HIV from the age of 20-50 will see the evidence for themselves.
Other than that..
Cool story bro.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 The official viewpoint of KNMG and other related medical/scientific organisations is that non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors is a violation of children’s rights to autonomy and physical integrity. Contrary to popular belief, circumcision can cause complications – bleeding, infection, urethral stricture and panic attacks are particularly common. - cont
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@MacHead31 KNMG is therefore urging a strong policy of deterrence. KNMG is calling upon doctors to actively and insistently inform parents who are considering the procedure of the absence of medical benefits and the danger of complications.
There you have it. A medical organisation that recommends against it.
If you think that the KNMG recommends it, then quote from their position paper of 27th May 2010. I have it in front of me, so when you quote from it I will be able to tell.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@MacHead31 Since you can't name one scientific theory for this "protective mechanism" shouldn't you just admit that you don't know?
You gave me Australian stats that don't match your claims, because when we look at the statistics for year which should have an even greater protective factor, we see that there wasn't one and that there was in fact a higher number of diagnosed cases.
I also note that you don't mention about MSM vs Heterosexual acquisition. This too needs addressing.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 For any medical organization to say that something possibly reduces the risk of getting HIV shows that there is evidence to back up the claim.

@MacHead31 Address the country of acquisition factor. Address the flaws in the studies. Tell me the mechanism of acquisition that increases the risk with a foreskin. Address the higher risk to women.
These were the other points, and I have copied and pasted them as i originally put them to you in the other posts here.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Your the one who is cherry picking because when you say "No medical organization recommends cir" your leaving out that no medical organization recommends against it either.
When you only look at one year form the AUS evidence I gave you, your leaving out an entire age group and your only examining one age. More than one age group is having sex in case you didn't know.
Instead of comparing 1950 to 1960 compare 1950, 1955, and 1960 VS 1940, 1945, and 1950 or any group of years.
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31 The Royal Dutch Medical Association recommends against circumcision. If you don't know this then you have not read their position paper. Google them and the word "circumcision" and it will come up.
I was not looking up one year. I was looking at the figures for a number of years from 1987-2007. Oh and incase you didn't notice, I was comparing 1950, 1955 and 1960 because that was the age range that you specified as the average. If you don't like the debate don't specify the age range
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 So now tell me this now that you have compared the years 1950-1960. Which set of years has the highest number of cut males and where does that put 30-40 year olds? I do believe that would be around 1998, and guess what! 1998 has the lowest HIV rate!!!!! WOW!
MacHead31 7 months ago
@MacHead31
1950 84% neo-natal circumcision 20-40 during 1970-1990 HIV acquisition rate at 35- 1500* Approx value
1955 90% neo-natal circumcision 20-40 during 1975-1995 HIV acquisition rate at 35- 1283
1960 80% neo-natal circumcision 20-40 during 1980-2000 HIV acquisition rate at 35- 818
1965 70% neo-natal circumcision 20-40 during 1985-2005 HIV acquisition rate at 35- 677
1970 60% neo-natal circumcision 20-40 during 1990-2010 HIV acquisition rate at 35- 868
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@MacHead31 From that I think that it's not too difficult to see that there is no direct relationship, in Australia, with circumcision and HIV, from a statistical view point.
thegoatboy69 7 months ago
@thegoatboy69 Yeah I think your right. It just happens that when most males are cut HIV just magically goes down, then when males are not cut HIV goes back up. Crazy.

Nothing but a shameless pitch for increased funding.
Decent and moral people don't advocate for adults inappropriately interfering with children's genitals nor do they promote cutting healthy body parts from children. Circumcision is BOTH of these things and two wrongs never make a right.
Stretchalot1 1 year ago 9
Circumcision removes the most sensitive part of a man's penis. The five most sensitive areas of the penis are on the foreskin. The transitional region from the external to the internal foreskin is the most sensitive region of the fully intact penis, and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis.

I know that most men — not only those considered clever, but even those who are very clever and capable of understanding most difficult scientific, mathematical, or philosophic, problems — can seldom discern even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as obliges them to admit the falsity of conclusions they have formed, perhaps with much difficulty — conclusions of which they are proud, which they have taught to others, and on which they have built their lives. - Leo Tolstoy

I reserve an opinion as to where funds should be directed, due to the fact that I do not know the state of our economy well, and also choose not to vote.
