  • 10:10 holy! an on screen stabing. This show rocked so much! I miss shows like this that had guts.

  • how old do you think Norman is here? He looks adorable.

  • Wow the theme song and video, distinctly brings me back to my childhood, waking up groggy eating breakfast, all on schedule, ready to go to school. Ahh the good ol' days!

  • Spike...very reminiscent of the Kurgan from Highlander

  • Whoever did the music for this cartoon probably did the music for Street Fighter 2 Animated Movie. They sound very similar.

  • I think that's Brad Garret.

  • Episode 7 not 8

  • NORMY

  • Agreed. Just accept it

  • @willbeard4 you don't question these things. They just are.

  • want me to break it

  • Shouldn't the other warriors in the village be helping him instead of the kid?

  • oohh.. wait.. i just fought of something... the name Norman come from the word North-man?? sound alike and it would make sense..

  • @1Skordon yes norman was once thor

  • Only a badass like norman can wear a chain-link belt with a padlock on it.

  • Geeze, Normans dad musta REALLY been wanting peace if he buried his ax under so many skins it took him 5 minutes to dig it out.

On another note, always gotta love a story that fleshes out Norman's character- He was the most badass of the characters. :D

  • norman! my war-ax, has got to be one of the manliest lines of dialogue ever spoken.

  • Spike is probably the most powerful villian next to Skullmaster!!

  • How do you get sticks in your head and not die from that shit?

  • why didnt the villagers help his father

  • @TheJoec2005 Probably because of his enforcing peace, and Spike surprise attack. I'd imagine in the most extreme case, that ax was the only weapon in the villiage

  • OH MY GOD every voice actor in this is familiar, tony jay and bender for instance?

  • @mac25663 Lol yes Tony Jay, but Joe DiMaggio ("Bender") didn't do the voice of the villain in this episode; it was Brad Garrett aka Raymond's older brother from "Everybody Loves Raymond"

  • this show was the bomb

  • @greenteen85 I GET IT! you said "The Bomb because like this show that's from 90's...'cause there is NO possible way ANYONE could still use that...LOL

  • @Hexon666 ;)

  • yeah right at 7:50

  • Comment removed

  • norms so funy he scared to fight this guy so hes like if you leave now well call it even

  • It's so funny that Two-Face from "Batman" is Norman in this show, except he sounds more different.

  • is spike brad garrett? well either way great episode from a great series man do I miss the 90's before tv turned into crap

  • norman has his right ear pierced.

  • @Ben2113 Norman has both ears pierced

  • spike is such a beast LOL =p

  • haha. my favourite episode. ohhhh iused to watch this one several times. great memories =D

  • is that brad garett

  • @tomahawkdpad

you are correct sir. haha. =)

  • Norman is afraid of spiders just like me

  • they all moved to barstow to smoke meth

  • Noooooooooooooooooooooorman!!!!!!!!!!

  • @howling monk very good thesis and just like how video games are fun no matter how people view it. cartoons are the same, I just wish that people are more open minded as you are nowadays.

  • LOL, I see Ernie!

  • Because clearly a talking bird-man, a magical hat, and the previous episodes TOTALLY made sense. No, it isn't Looney Tunes...but that doesn't mean it's not wacky sometimes.

  • Hey, What's up Verg, another factory recall...

    Something for Toyota???

  • Spike is a monster!!!

  • the sticks in his head could be warts like that human tree guy?

  • The person who voices Spike does the voice for Greasepit in Biker Mice from Mars.

Came to me as soon as he spoke :p

  • bravo, its the same guy, also raymond from everybody loves raymond ;D

  • @GlitchGhoul He was also the intergalatic bounty hunter and anti-hero Lobo in "Superman." The actor's name is Brad Garrett

  • So how did Spike live 10,000 years?

  • he was frozen in the ice for 10000 years.

  • Of course,I must have been half asleep not to work that out.

  • the real question is how he survived having sticks jammed into his head...

  • as droopy says in a cartoon anything can happen.

  • @halo23 Does this look like a cartoon to you? Do you see funny talking animals, stretching limbs, movements synchronized to music? people surviving lethal injuries from anvils? i mean, i could see a -kinda- on a -few- of those, but come on.

  • umm yes it does, minus all that other stuff you have mentioned.

  • @halo23 well those are what define a cartoon. This is not a cartoon, 'cartoon rules' do not apply.

  • well to get back to your original question about spike it is possible being frozen in the ice for that 10,000 prevented those sticks from killing him in the first place.

  • I know you posted this a few months ago but I wanted to say this: A cartoon isn't defined by the, 'looney toon' method. A cartoon is an animated story that can capture one's imagination in various forms. Avatar is a cartoon, and people died in that show--its all about the way you structure your cartoon that defines its limits. :3 Sorry for that, I'm a cartoon nerd and thought I'd share my views. :3

  • Nevertheless, the original commenter said "it's a cartoon anything can happen" .. this is obviously not that kind of cartoon.

  • @KairuHakubi thats a cartoon all about dude if you dont like it dont post

  • All purpose moan. lol

  • spike = brad garrett

  • love that guys voice actor, he did LOBO on Justice League Unlimited and Tank on the 2nd Goofy Movie

  • brad garrett has done a hell of a lot more than that XD

  • @KairuHakubi YEAH BRO ITS JUST TWO PARTS THAT STOOD OUT IN MY MIND

  • love the adorable pic in the episode title ^_^

  • Nambla Boots lol.

  • Norman so rarely tries to negotiate.

  • 'If I'd been meant to fly I'd have been born with wings!'

A long-shot, but the last time I heard that line it was also said by an owl: Archimedes from Sword in the Stone!

  • 'On my planet we have a saying; if God had meant for us to fly, he wouldn't have taken away our wings!'

    -Howard the Duck (the movie)

  • That too!

(Pretend I didn't know what you were talking about please)

  • this is one of my favorite episodes

  • I miss UPN.

  • this is my favorite episode

  • Reminds me of Kargan from Highlander, great times.

  • He couldn't lift the sword. He was a kid. Would you expect a 5 year old to fight?

  • And yet Max easily carried the axe. Weird.

  • but he is the chosen one

  • norman was a panzy when he was a kid. let his father die cuz he is a wimp.

  • spike is so pissed of his voice makes me laugh

  • LOL the guy who does the voice of Spike is Brad Garrett, aka the big tall brother from Everybody Loves Raymond :P

  • yeah and this was the peak of his career imo.

  • No way! Really, oh wow that was so unexpected.....thanks for sharing!

  • This is addictive

  • norman rules!

  • "Definately a type A personality"

  • lol he walked into the girls bathroom...his excuse..i wasnt feeling well and i didnt know!!!

  • jesus christ spike has endurance XD

  • one of the best intros ever :)

  • One of the best cartoons of the 90's. Pokemon is shit compared to this.

  • think they should make a reboot series? or even a completely new series of Mighty max? XD

  • nononono!!!!! if they did that they would ruin it. Maybe put it back on air, but not a new series, it'll be loaded with the stupid stuff on tv!!!

  • i'd freaking write the series myself if i had to. Make it More dark, and violent, but just as light hearted. Put it on Adult swim.

  • ADULT SWIM!!! of course, who would be better to air a show like that than them. GENIUS. althouhg violence doesnt need to be to gory ok!!!!!!

  • I didnt have much gore in mind. i had Clone Wars/Samurai Jack/One Piece type stuff. maybe a little blood, but not hardcore anime type gore. Just realistic fights. Norman Cutting robots to bits or whatever. They could go deeper into the characters too, and have a few Norman vs Skullmaster fights.

  • that'll work. yeah deeper characters especially, Virgil doesn't have a background, and like where is max's dad?

  • Exactly where Ash's dad is :p

  • wheres that then? :-s

  • in the realm of non existant dads

  • haha, gotcha ;-)

  • That explains so much xD

  • If they remade this it probably be in the evil hands of 4kids

  • Ben detto amico!

    Mighty Max rulla;D

  • @lorenzo8500 no wonder we are so kool we watched Might Max and all kinds of bad ass cartoons then started listening to metallica. Now all they got is justin beiber and who knows wtf they are watching now.

  • @lorenzo8500 Can you BELIEVE the popularity of pokemon compared to Mighty Max? Makes me frickin question the youth of today.

  • Du'h! Didn't read the previous posts. Brad Garret it is!

  • Du'h! Didn't read the previous posts. Brad Garret it is!

  • Spike's voice is gotta be John DiMaggio's (Gears of War, Futurama). It's not credited under his name though...

  • LOL@ Spike shoving the branch up his nose and saying, "feeels goooooood".

  • Spike's voice is that guy on the Superman cartoon, who dresses like an outspace biker.

  • lobo?

havent watched that since i was 4 XD

  • I remember this show from when I was little. I'm sure I had a video of it with this ep on it. I think there were other eps too but this is the one that I remember most. Hmm... gonna go look for the other eps.

  • I'm surprised emo kids haven't discovered this cartoon and started calling it their favorite underground show.

  • shhh don't tell them, i like this show

  • Who knows, it may be the next thing in Hot Topic accessories.

  • Is that Brad Garret voicing Spike or do mine ears decieve me?

  • you're not wrong - he did a lot of voice work before his a lot of t.v. work

  • Spike is ruthless, I like that!

  • but hes also a pussy.. he killed norman's dad when he was urnarmed. he should have at least given him a fair chance.

  • its the same voice as virgil , normans father, and the fat one of the british guys in the beginging

  • They spared no expense in the production. Still is a great cartoon though

  • tony jay - frollo from hunchback of notre dame

  • spike's voice is greasepit from biker mice from mars.

  • Spike is Brad Garret from Everybody Loves Raymod.

    LOL!

  • all the 90's cartoons used a closely knit cast tbh.

  • virgil is the voice of norman's dad..anyone catch that too?

  • and also Frollo from hunchback of notre damel

  • Is Spike immortal or something?

  • frozen guy must be thinking"you have my AX" lolol

  • Well I guess her account was suspended or something but her work was good. They are cracking down on the leggers alot recently =/. MM isnt even avail on american dvd. In Europe its on dvd but you would need a region 2 dvd player Uk format. I had to go outside The US too get all 15 Episodes of The Inhumanoids lol cuz America deemed the final episodes were to violent so they'll never be released here lol =/

  • I did find all 40 episodes on ebay bootleg though they were in good condition no picture distortions audio was tight. Aw what was the sellers name I'll post it for you guys =)

  • NORRRRRRRRRRRMANNNNNN LMFAO. Spike should have been in the final episodes Another Classic

  • That's one of his best lines in the whole episode, lol.

  • i agree. Spike isnt exactly dead.. so maybe if they were ever to make another series spike would be in it?

  • "Hey, hey! What can I say, buddy? Ya got a magnetic personality!" - Mighty Max

  • WOW...this brings me back..dam those were the days.

  • Lol! Max's teacher is Hitler!

Cheers for uploading by the way! I have to look for that VHS I have of it.

  • that is the BEST portal ever! except for the whole garbage dump thing

  • "I'm sorry to interrupt the test sir but, I think I'm dying. May I see the nurse?"

  • awesome!!!! standing ovations, man!!!! I LOVE YOU!

  • nice! we want more!!

  • Thanks Arsenal.

  • Brad Garrett at his best! Richard Moll also plays his best!

  • I'd have to agree with bibleandbandana. Of all episodes, I recall this one exceptionally well.

All in all, this is really nostalgic for me. Thank you for uploading.

  • Those first two guys are definitely Virgil and Max

  • I remember this episode with notable clarity. The fantasy and dark heroism in this series haunted me (in a good way) for years.

  • He IS rather chibi isn't he? Unbelievably I didn't notice that when I first watched this (age 9...)

  • Littlw Norman was adorable!
