There are jokes that make fun of cancer, aids, abortions, etc. Diabetes is like heart disease, it can be brought on genetically or through self-neglect. Chris Farley made fun of having heart attacks because he was fat, and that wasn't offensive. My video is blatantly absurd, and draws no conclusions about anything. Diabetics do not get a high when they shoot up insulin. My video makes fun of a fictional old person who is tormented by a guy chucking a ball at his house.

If you don't want to get diabetes, eat whole grain foods, they steadily raise your glucose levels as opposed to in quick spikes. Also, maintain a healthy weight. Insulin is released in response to blood sugar levels -- when there is too much glucose, your body "sends a message" to turn that glucose into fat. People with diabetes can't do this, so they inject insulin. It's not a big deal. I learned this in college. Read a book.

For instance, when I made this video, I hadn't slept the night before, and I was on high amounts of Adderall. This increases my body's metabolic rate, using more blood sugar, and eventually depleting my glycogen levels, making me tired and confused. So when I shot this video in 3 hours and edited it in 4, it wasn't that bad! Also, it's not a healthy cognitive approach to become offended by things so easily, I recommend analyzing why things offend you and how they exist only in your mind.

It also seems apparent to me that some people with Diabetes haven't fully accepted their dispositions yet, as there should be no reason for them to get angry at this. For most with diabetes, it is not part of their identity, it is just clockwork routine -- a way of living. I found it clear by this video's absurdity that it was not making fun of Diabetes at all, but was simply dealing with a bunch of loose concepts.
