Keith and Ron often conspire on stage to kill Mick after the show, but so far neither has been man enough to do it. Charlie will have no part of his band-mates' silly machinations.
@camcoop25 and in the 70's Keith did just that, but now?he's playing like chuck berry plays NOW.and speaking of kepping chuck berry and many other rock & roll/blues guitar player memories alive,Have you ever heard of Vince Labauve?he's got the ball now by far.
Agreed. In the Scorcese movie he was just fucking around (possibly to piss off Mick). Shame really, and quite at odds with what he says in his book, which I am just finishing now - great read, by the way.
Thanks for the recommendation re: LaBauve - I'll check him out.
As a sideshow to Keef's book and his unwavering praise for Chuck, I've been listening to Chuck - those few years when he was on fire. The grooves are not being reproduced today. Something in the rhythm has changed.

and one more thing Rons guitar should have the dominant volume.and he should do the majority of solos.Keith should stick to rhythm.

Nonsense, somebody has to keep Chuck Berry's memory alive - and Keith seems to be the only volunteer.
