  • i have this computer, had to send it back to sony twice because its just stopped working costing me over £400 each time, now i just give up with it.

  • We cant hear the sound quality of the Sony, we can hear the sound quality of the video and our computers

  • yoo i have this PC but i need new keyboard , can somebody tell me pls where i can buy a new one in germany or poland when possible (i need/want the original keyboard).. peace

  • i have this compyter, <333 it:)

  • This is why I like Vaios, my kind of styling.

  • top ! very good !

  • NIce video :)

  • whoa! Improved!!!! Better than the previous one.

But really should have more RAM cause Vista Kills and it's a resource hog.

  • People keep saying this? I'm using a single core AMD 3500+ with 1.5gb of DDR (DDR1 !!!) ram and a 6800gt with Vista Ultimate and it runs FLAWLESS! everything is very snappy so with 2gb (of what I suppose is DDR2) is more than enough...unless you're thinking on gaming for which you shouldn't be looking at this all-in-one computer at all.

  • Yeah. Vista takes up the whole GB of you have more RAM for a 64 Bit. It auto adjusts and uses more RAM. Btw What vista are you using?. But the mistake Microsoft did was putting Vista on low end hardware and made the people's PC's and Laptops die and corrupt their data cause of Microsoft stupid updates that slow down and corrupt your OS. I had vista on a 1GB laptop and a 1.75 GHZ Processor Intel Centrion Duo. Boy was it crap. Uses 900 MB's of RAM doing nothing. And takes forever to start up. You?

  • I don't know what to say really, Vista takes about 15-25 second to boot on my system and everything is very smooth (even with Aero on), the only thing is that big updates take FOREVER to install, more than a fresh OS install (which usually only takes about half an hour or less)

Of course, everybody knows that pre-installed OS are absolute crap, I never used the original XP installation of my computer, since it was full of erros and it actually ran kinda slow (!), so...

  • ...I re-installed the OS myself using a disc I borrowed from a friend (you could do that with XP) and then chose my own options and such and the OS was EXTREMELY fast, and that's what I used until I got Vista, because I had tried it before that and I liked it and it worked flawless...though at that time I had less ram.

Then when I actually bought it Service Pack 1 had come out and it ran perfectly, it now ran all of the programs that weren't originally "Vistal compatible" perfectly.

  • It's Vista Ultimate by the way.

  • You mean other manufacturers made the mistake of not making PCs with decent performance.

I use Vista all the time on my self built gaming PC and Windows 7 on my Vaio P and prefer it to XP, mostly because I got sick of the basic theme of XP.

  • @G1NZOU Haha good. I switched to Windows 7 . And it's completely faster than Vista.

    : D

  • Yeah, my Vaio came with Vista and I definitely notice certain things are faster now with 7.

  • Yeah, I built mine with 2GB, it helps that it's very fast RAM, the speed is just as important as quantity.

  • I Rather get an IMAc

  • Does anybody know where I can buy this model? because it's out of catalogue since a couple of months..and I want it!!!

  • i have that computer

  • Hi, nice video.

I want to know if the keyboard and the mouse use batteries or have an USB cable to recharge it.

I would like to buy one, but don't want to buy batteries each month.

  • The keyboard & mouse use batteries..it doesn't

have USB cable to recharge it..the keyboard use 4 pieces AA batteries n 2 pieces AA batteries for mouse..If u don't want to buy batteries each month, i recommend u to buy 8 pieces AA rechargeable batteries with charger..So, u donn't have to buy another batteries again, ehehe..

  • Dose any one know from a technical point f view

If it's possible to upgrade the video card with :

    NVIDIA GeForce 8600M

    Or

    NVIDIA GeForce 8700M

Is it compatible with the motherboard ?.

  • $1299.....haha that's not bad concidering the look, and all the specs. I Mean most of the laptops that look so used and abused look so bad. But this sony vaio is beautiful.

  • He wrote £1299 (UK£ Pound) that is $2587 ($ Dollar) read better!

  • What is the issue on cooling, it looks like it could over heat easily?

  • No issues with cooling. There are plenty of cooling slots that vent the heat from the system and the fans are temperature controlled.

  • i want one

    how much was it

  • £1299 in the UK

  • wow, i got mine for £1049 at pc world about 2months ago.. :S

  • @elkina20 I bugt one of these, the VGC LM1, it lasted 15 months and the graphics fault surfaced, Sony wanted £700 to repair this. Bought a Dell, twice the spec for the same price (near enough) as the cost of rpair. I think that I was done.
