Her mom isn't making Heather do this. Heather is a great singer and she loves to sing. It's her hobby and it's been said that in church she always tries to grab the mic first so she can sing. So it's not that she's brainwashed to do this, this is all Heather's decision.

Oh, give her a break. She is simply getting older. If she didn't want to do it, she wouldn't put effort into it.

Any parent knows, you can force your child to do some things but you cant MAKE them enjoy it. She has obviously loved singing for a while now. She's singing wholesome christian songs...Get over it....

I used to be a performer as a child, by choice, but I've associated with many girls just like Heather. You can be FORCED to do things and pretend you like it out of loyalty. Or as in some cases I've seen, brainwashed into thinking you MUST do it.
