I guess I know what you mean, especially with this song. But it has to be said that Rage are much more versatile.

Versatility isn't always the most important thing. Running Wild was very consistent. From the Rage I've listened to so far, I hear the versatility, but they can't always put it together into a palatable form. Stylistically, this song is very reminiscent of older RW. Though it should be noted that they are both from Germany around the same time period so they probably borrowed from each other (along with Helloween, Scanner, etc).

I agree. "Trapped!" is one of my favourite heavy metal albums, but other Rage albums just didn't do it for me. As for Running Wild, I really like some of their older songs, but albumwise I prefer "Pile Of Skulls".

Yeah dude, POS is an awesome album! Running Wild only really hit their stride on Port Royal and up. MY recommendations for them are that, Death or Glory, Blazon Stone, Black Hand Inn (this was considered a fan favorite when I got backstage with them in Germany and my personal favorite), Masquerade, and The Rivaly. You'll probably like any of them. Also check out Scanner "Hypertrace". Great German power-metal
