  • Hi, I saw you bought your zutter kutter about one year ago. I want to buy one, but as I live in Brazil and here it costs an arma and a leg, I am checking how good it cuts. I work with that really thick, kind of card board paper to do scrapbooking covers, but I work with fabric. When I hand cut it, i need to go thru about 5 times to fully cut it. Would this machine cut that thick ?

Would you please give me the approximate size and weight of the box ?? Thank you for your help. Patricia.

  • hello i was wondering will this cut paper and cardstock aswell and ow many sheets at one time? i am looking for a good cutter to be able to cut alot of sheets of paper and cardstock for book and things at once but dont want to have to spend alot of money .ok well love it though and happy you won yours.....

  • I purchased this in July 2011 - no instructions, no videos, no excuse.

  • @paperpixie11 Oh no! I can't BELIEVE they still don't include instructions! Get with it Zutter!

  • What's the max amount of card stock or printer paper you can load on it at one time to cut? Thanks for the tutorial.

  • Thank you so much. I have not been able to figure mine out. This helps tremendously.

  • Thanks. I had bought it a few months back... no directions back then and trying to figure it out even though I printed the directions from the site... which aren't a lot of help. I think I understand what to do now.

  • Thanks so much! I also was given no instruction manual. You did a great job!

  • Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that Zutter had made a cutter.

  • YOu are a life saver! I won the Zutter Kutter at the SCRAPBOOK EXPO a few months ago in NJ. I had not figured out how to use it! Thaks so much for this vid! YOu ROck!

  • @PoconoPam WOW! Congratulations on winning an amazing prize! So happy for you and also happy that this video was helpful to you. By the way, I use mine all the time, and have discovered that although Zutter recommends using all 4 settings per cut, I've found that when cutting chipboard that it is fine to just start at #3 - make your cut and then finish it on #4. #1 and #2 did nothing with chipboard. Saves us 2 steps. :c) Robyn

  • @injoystampin Thanks for the tip Robyn! Have a great weekend! Pam

  • Thanks for the demo! I was bummed when I didn't see instructions as well. Have a wonderful day.

  • I have to agree this looks it should just cut on first swipe.

  • It's actually not all that bad to do the 4-steps. It takes about 10 seconds. Of course, I did it slower for the demo that I would in real life. It does the job that I purchased it for. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. :c)

  • switching the cutting guide isn't just for lefties, it will also allow you to cut longer pieces.

  • There is a vid from some girl who was at the Zutter booth, here on YT. Don't you love it/!?!? I couldn't figure it out at first either but LOVE IT NOW!!

  • I don't understand having to draw the blade back 4 times to make one cut!? It is not activating anything so why not just adjust straight to 4 and cut your medium chipboard. I think the blade adjustment makes no sense to me. I would guess the only benefit would be to scor thicker material but when you scor you really don't want a cut you'd rather have a crease. Thank you for demo-ing. I think you just proved to me Zutter can and did create a Flop product. You have a great hubby to help you!

  • thanks for sharing

  • Thanx for the demo, it was very helpful. Marjorie

  • Do you have to start at #1? Can't you just go straight to #4? Weird. :) Thanks for sharing.

  • That seems like a lot of work to have to cut 4 times .... sheesh. TFS!

  • Oh boy, that looks like a lot of work! I wish it were faster to use. I thing four times to make one cut is way too many for my taste. Thanks for sharing the tutorial though, Great job being clear an to the point :)

  • This might take the fun out of crafting. hmmm... I hope you find it more helpful than it looks. Good luck! I had not even heard about this kutter. But I think I'll pass. Thank you for showing a tut on this however. It's so helpful of you to do

  • do you have to cut it on each number every time? or if you know what blade depth you need, can you just start on that number?

  • @harrisjcarolyn I was wondering the same thing Seems like a lot of work to make one cut everytime...

  • thanks for the demo. soo cool

  • Thanks for the demo. Your husband must be a genius to figure that out. Thank him too.

    Donna:):)

  • i have been wanting this but i have to save money 4 it but thanks this helped me alot
