I am so distracted by the wall and shelves behind you. But, I have always found Kiss Players incredibly hard to sit through.But I can understand that it was "needed" to fill a gap, and it makes sense as that.

I am split on kiss players being a fan of "cuter" stuff in anime. On one hand, there is moe in my mecha. but then again, this was done poorly with fanservice being out of place

I'm neither in favor of or against Kiss players, so I watched this with an open mind. It's very informative, and It's surprising to know that such a hated Transformers franchise was actually created to fill in a crucial gap in the Trans timeline.

Every anti-kiss player transfan should watch this... it's enlightening.

I've only heard the term KISS Players casually thrown around and I've been curious about it for a month now. So far I'm totally interested as you mentioned Azumanga Daioh and I figure if KP ended up in the same monthly collection as AD then it has to be somewhat interesting. At the end of the day, cutesy characters is just a vessel to deliver this particular story.

The cultural shock adding to the design just made hardcore fans panicked and grabbing their pitchfork without digging deeper to appreciate the story.

Kiss players (1st series), while mostly ecchi/comedic, can be fairly dark and disturbing at times. There were quite a few graphic death scenes and definintely not for kids.

This is a very insightful review, keep them rolling :D
