  • do you know how much horsepower is actually needed to run 4 rows, and a kernel processor? I see you have 375hp, is that overkill or not?

    thanks

  • @W1zar6 375hp is actually perfect to fully exploit the 4 rows... especialy if you have tall corn.

  • Would these heads fit on a gehl 1275?

  • Where did you get the header from and how did you have to convert it to make it fit?

    Please answer back

  • how manny rows does it take at one ride?

  • @123guus It's a 4 row wide unit (30 in.), 10ft or 3m wide. There is now a version for pull type harvesters (JD 5000) or pre-FX NH with 4 rows. And for 2011, there will be a 3 row version available for Dion, Nh, Gehl and Deere pull type harvesters.

  • Der Auswurf ist zu klein! kann den Wagen gar nicht richtig voll machen

  • Very nice. I have a customer who is looking at buying one.

  • That looks so cool at 1:04 when the field is complete and it just pulls in the corn stalks!!!

  • Is this a Kemper license ?

  • dude thats super

  • I like the video I have a FP240 but it don't take that much in. do you have a kernal prossecer

  • great video!!!!

but why don´t you use a Krone Big X??? its much faster and i bet it uses less fuel...

    but great vid!

  • Most farmers around have vertical silos and the blower is often what's limiting. Many fields are small also depending on the region. They wouldn't be able to go much faster with a much bigger harvester. With a pull-type harvester they are using it's full capacity can use the tractors they use the rest of the season for other purposes. Much less investment.

  • hey I have a 900 New Holland chopper. will that head fit on a 900? and how much bigger is your chopper than a 900?

  • FP240 choppers are rated for 300 HP, we run ours on our Case IH magnum 8940 that has 275 HP and it is a good match. but 3 rows is enough in a good crop to keep the chopper full

  • a 900 is a bit smaller than a fp230

can only go up to about 200-250 hp

fp230 goes up to 250-300 hp

fp240 goes up to 300-350 hp

  • super....

  • takiej jeszcze nie widzialem

  • Quebec rules...lol where was this????

  • Coaticook!

  • where is it and how many cattle are you raiseing

  • looks like youre cutting her a little green

  • Yes, it was actually a little too wet, but the owner wanted it that way... It was the first job this contractor did last fall.

  • I think you got the description wrong. That 8430 cant be at 375 hp.

  • The owner bought a controller that modifies the electronic injection. It "fooles" the sensor making it for example opened to 130% when it senses it's open to 100%. The guy actually says it's closer to 400hp at the engine.

  • wow, how fast are you going, are you kernal processing?

  • I think the driver was going over 4mph. He said he could drive just as fast as he can with the NH 3 row conventional header, because the feeding is much more constant especially when you enter the row, no need to slow down. NOtice the tractor has more power than it is sold for. The kernel processor was on, but cutting with only 6 knives for longer length of cut.

  • did you have to make many mods to fit the dion head on the nh240? is there a kit available to do the swap?

  • Hi, I thought I replied to your comment. There are only minor modifications to adapt the header on a NH harvester. A kit will be available for 2008.
