if you were a christian, you wouldn't believe in evolution, but creation. Science is a key to our devolpment as humans, but i refuse to believe i was evolved from an ape. And if that was the case, why are there still apes among us?? Wouldn't evolution have killed them off??? Makes you think , huh?

In my AmeriCorps position, I take every opportunity to teach kids about anything scientific and showing that science can be fun.

Science needs to come back with a vengeance (having a BS in biology and a minor in biochemistry, I have ALWAYS believed in this). It's how we know how Earth will run currently and for hopefully many generations to come. Well said, Commander Nova.

That is funny, but it is actually 6 out of 10 republicans don't believe in evolution.

In the first Republican presidential debate, McCain was asked if he believed in evolution. He said yes. Then the moderator asked if any of the other candidates, by a show of hands, did NOT believe in evolution. Three put 'em up: Brownback, Tancredo, and Huckabee.

I'm teaching youngsters about ecology and adaptations of wildlife.

Looks like the current trend is to send as many as possible to church to pray new technology will fall from the sky into our hands. Hopefully more work will be pushed to get kids involved in learning science, rather than testing the same set of arithmatic problems over and over again.
