Every person that I saw her react to in a revered and respectable way, giving credence to those other actors, were kissed by Meryl on her way up to the stage. I'm pretty good at reading non verbal communication. I could have sat here tonight and listened to all of the accolades about Meryl and wouldn't even become sleepy.The only complaint I have is that I wish they could have had another 40 actors up there singing her praises because my gosh, if there is anyone in the industry to respect,well
I do believe she is the greatest LIVING actress in the world, yes. But of all time? Think of Garbo, Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, Vivien Leigh, Ingrid Bergman...She certainly loves to kiss men on the mouth again and again, doesn't she? And for such a seasoned performer she has these silly, akward humorless moments when speaking live, as if she were drunk or jizzed. High time she won a 3rd Academy Award , though.
i can't think of any other actress this talented, i see every single one of her movies and i can't see her, i see her characters and thats something i never got with any other actor/actress!.
I hope next generations recognize this woman and her work and put her up there with actress like audrey, Elizabeth, Grace and others.

She was almost crying when she thanked her parents and when she thanked Don for her children. Soooooo beautifull. I love her so much. I think I'm obsessed by her. hahaha. No, but now serieusly. She really is a diamond in the acting world. She is a gift from God and that's why we all love her. She is really great and the world will never forget her.
