"it is normal" for the trainer, but not so much for the lions. These animals are genetically programmed to kill, trainer or not instinct dominates.

@300AKBozz That would be true in most cases, but this man is no Trainer. He is a wildlife expert and studied these creatures for many years before even attempting this. The lions in this video haven't been taught to act this way - they are, as you said, acting on instinct. He hasn't trained them to like him or act 'cuddly' to him - He is their alpha, their dominant leader. They respect him as one of their own, just as he does to them.

Classical behavioural actions done with other animals too.

The only way to do this is to become part of the pride and be viewed as the alpha male, from this position they will then respect, listen to and learn from him. When they get older they are then released into a park to be tested and finally they're released into the wild.
