I called Specters office begging him to vote against the mega expensive Obamacare mistake. He didn't listen. That was his last chance. We will remember in November. . . I can't wait to watch Specter's concession speech. . . .
Specter, the man that felt his career stood above those close-minded GOP primary voters, who kept the war chest he built with the help of the incompetent PA State GOP.
Specter feels his career stands above everything. Specter may be gone next November, but if this Obamacare poison pill passes, we'll be left picking up the pieces.
I suppose Specter doesn't care about the 2.5 Trillion price tag, since he's 80 and will not be alive long enough to be stuck with the bill . . . .
Even though I most often disagreed with Senator Specter, I admired his intellect and political skill. Now I see nothing to admire in him. He is a true politician, more interested in his political career than in the country he serves.
Politics should be thought of as a temporary service to the country you love; not a life-long career. No man is strong enough to avoid succumbing to the ego-driven need for power that a life in politics always eventually creates.
Specter is the epitome of American political waste. What has happened to our country?

Specter has proven himself to be a slime and I regret ever supporting him. It'll be a pleasure to vote against him next year!
