  • I could play this in 4th grade. I have a video.

  • Nice arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • nice arms ;D

  • I thought that was great. The tempo was nice and very little mistakes. If you could please watch my video of me playing solfeggieto and tell me what you think of it that would be great :)

  • Good job. Just work on your temp and pedaling. Keep it up!

  • Wow....lots of critics.....I wonder if they realize just how few people are really as talented as you are. I thought it was good......keep it up!

  • if you play this correctly , you should keep doing it because it's good practice.

if you are still trying to play it correctly , you should should take a valium and go over things slowly.

  • if you just play the first 34 notes correctly I'll say you're trying.

  • if you play half of the first page correctly thats better than nothing.

  • I'm told this is just the first page of solfeggietto

I practice it on guitar in C minor , I've seen A minor tab on it and I moved it to C minor.

I like it because it's not terribly long and demonstrates the boroque technique very well.

I also like that it begins with a trill , for me that means a pull-off then a hammer-on

  • Oh and I realised..You shouldn't really rely on the peddling [well I don't have your peddling pattern marked in my sheets but..]. I ended up relying on it a lot and use it way too much now.

  • As hard as it seems, there's only 1 or two parts that are really hard. It's quite easy

  • shizz! i need to be this fast! my recital is in 2 weeks!

  • I love how this piece sounds. You're very good at playing at the same speed throughout the song.

  • I have 2 play this for an exam but cant get it perfectly fast like id kinda studder on notes! Any advice??

  • It's funny how backwards I do things. I get the speed right first before learning the whole song. XD

  • its actually sinch xD i was doing it for 3 weeks and ive got the speed already and i know it..all i do is 30 minutes a day max xD

  • ive just turned 14 and im doing this :L :/

  • @cormacf24 me 2! LOL !!

  • I love this piece. I have one of my students performing this in a recital in the near future. Very nicely done!

  • playing this song is so much funn, but so hard. lmao

  • Comment removed

  • I really like your trill around 0:50. It was really nice. You're definitely on your way. I hope to learn this in the future, im jealous lol

  • seckzy arms :D

  • Atlast. Not someone who making it way to fast.

    This sounds good.

  • dude, it took 1-2 DAYS to get the speed and song right. hv2 play for piano test. wish me luck :)

  • @xxpassiongrl99xx But did you get the notes right, do each of them seperate. Do you add and subtract fierceness. Do any of them stumble over each other, do you have it at a set tempo, although you don't need to have it at one SET tempo. Do you have have the music down? Did you practice with a metronome, etc....I'm just asking lol

  • Comment removed

  • You gotta split this song op in eight different parts, and learn them one by one. That way, in two weeks, you are able to play this song. And then, slowly, go faster and faster.

  • LOVE IT! Thank you so much :-) You are brilliant!

  • Bravo!!! Only a few mistakes and i LOVE this tempo <3333

  • There really was no such thing as a pedal in those days...

  • whoa. no pedal. this wasn't originally written for piano, but rather a clavier. otherwise perfect 5 stars

  • @clickherforafreepony The sheet music has "pedal" clearly written at certain parts.

  • Mh, I don't think there is THE sheet music, there could be only an autograph and I don't know what it looks like. I have three versions and in none of them is written a pedal.

  • @Deluxe489 sigh*they didnt have pedal back in their day

  • @Nesoja I'm just saying that later, published, interpretations had pedal markings.

  • @Deluxe489 oh,my mistake

  • @Deluxe489 no it doesn't.

  • @clickherforafreepony On the Edition Schott version an editor has put in pedal, I can only guess that it is that version.

  • ITS THE TREASURE MOUNTAIN SONG

  • wow amazing!!!

  • i agree with candlewick163, you tempo was kinda erratic.

    very good job though!

    keep playing!

  • who are u saying R.I.P too???

  • Very good, but you have some issues that are just solved from practice and engraving the pattern in your fingers. Tempo issues. No offense, but you weren't really to play this song at real tempo, but I honor for learning this piece. Very difficult and I love it! I would like to see you do a finished video of it.

  • everytime i hear you play this it maes me feel good.

  • Excellent!

  • lol i just died. im learning this song now. im worried about getting the speed right..

  • getting the song right takes about 1-2 weeks, getting the speed right takes about 1-2 years

  • @Harriyama totally agree! Have to admit, although I can play it to speed now I tend to play it slower just because I actually like the way it sounds when the notes are more pronounced...

  • @

I got the song right in 3 days and the speed right in 8 days. Its certainly possible. :)

  • @Mercer1012 OMG this comment has jst gave me HOPE!!!! lol :) xx TNXXX!!!

  • @Harriyama o.o I learned it with good speed and notes within about two months...played it in front of judges :P

  • @Harriyama Ok, I learned how to play this and master it in a month so it doesn't take that long :D

  • RIP. =D

  • RIP

  • @0123RANDOM0123 same.

  • classy

  • wow!!!!!! nice!!!

  • I want to kill myself. I just can't seem to get my right hand to play the right notes when the left hand (properly) comes in at bar 13. WHY GOD?!

  • You have no idea how much you have just inspired me.

  • great job.... 4/5 for video.... 5/5 for performance

  • You did fantastic!

Don't let anyone tell you differently.

    Geil! <3

  • By The Looks Thats A Yamaha B1 And As Ive Been Hearing It Does Sound Iffi I Think Its Due To That Plywood Sound Thats Been Shoved In There :/ AWESOME PLAYING BY THE WAY !!!!!

  • do you have another version?:S

  • post a video of yourself playing it better then if you think its so ''easy''

  • theres no simple version moron

  • yes there is you FAGGOT, look it up b4 u open ur mouth

  • This is the original version.

  • HI, as for the bar 21 the notes A flat F C and another A flat, shall we played it in left hand.... since bach written like that...haha

  • WOW

  • I'm browsing through every video I can find of this song. I'm currently learning this song and I'm hoping that I can get some input from several people who've mastered this piece. I've been playing for 8 years and I was wondering if you had any tips for me to get this faster. Any suggestions for practicing the piece? Thanks.

  • I've played this song. I have a video posted but it's not the best that I've played it. I think the key to this song is to practice it with a metronome. And also, to practice it staccato. After you do that alot it seriously helps the rhythm to be very impeccable.

  • muy bueno, ¿podrías subir la Rapsodia Hungara n 2 de Liszt? greetings!!!

  • I love it *w* And I like how you play it, cause most people play it too fast in my opinion ^^ You are playing fast but not too fast =) I'm trying to learn this piece also at the moment.

  • ha nice at the f minor arpegio bit using only ur right hand that was cocky =]

  • nice sound for a yamaha, no?

  • i love this song.. ive been working on it and ive got the notes.. i just need to learn how to play it fast=]] haha

    good job=]

  • just practice very slow and gradually build the speed. just keep playing for at least 3 or 4 hours a day and you will get it. Trust me!

  • thanks=]]]] ill try=]]]

  • @sq2blue will it be this fast in two weeks? :-s our recital is close

  • @sq2blue

    are you asian?

3 to 4 hours a day is a lot, most students can't afford that much time on playing piano

  • @Shahar333

what the hell does being asian have to do with anything. besides, you can definitely play 3-4 hours a day up to your freshman year in high school.

especially in the summer. i played 2-3 hours a day for a couple weeks and i sure couldve gone longer with lengthier hours. in addition, i play violin for 45 min at least 5 (usually 6) days a week. im an A student who also played tennis for 1+ hours daily and went to martial arts classes 3x a week. and im a sophomore so shut the hell up

  • @hhak96

Be careful who you speak to boy. It's known that asian people who play instruments practice for very many hours a day, every day.

I wasn't trying to insult anyone, and don't think you are better then me in any way, I play piano too (but not as much), I go a lot to the GYM and I study many hours.

So don't think you are any better then me, got that?

  • @Shahar333

    I'm just stating your ignorance.

By the way, in what way is it known that Asian people practice hours a day? There are pleny of non-Asians who also work hard. You're simply going on about a stereotype.

And I'm not sure why you're assuming I'm a male.

I also didn't say I think I'm better than you, but I do think that 'being Asian' makes Asians have more time to afford to practice.

  • @Shahar333

    I'm not even a boy -.-

Only those who are dead serious in Asia play hours a day. Most are too swarmed with studies.

Don't speak like that unless you actually know your facts. There are a ton of non-Asians who also play hours a day.

And I don't think I'm better than you because there are no statistics to prove anything, idiot.

PS Going to the gym? Did you not just see that I exercise too? So yea that means nothing to me.

Oh and sorry to anyone else who has to read this argument.

  • Comment removed

  • you make it seem easy, i'm working on this and it's quite hard

  • i played this my freshman year of high school and took it to state, one of the most fun pieces i have played so far

  • im learning this song but my music sheet has no pedals, is this right???

  • afaik; as it is baroque (CPE baroque!) it wouldn't've had any pedalling originally; but it is interesting to add pedal and imagine how it might've been written if instruments were different in that era... I'm a bit of a stickler and always play it without pedal but that's just me!

  • yes....i also play it without pedals....if you want to play it with you have to be careful, because you cant step on it very long!!! just always short.

  • This piece always appears to me like something written for practice, like for velocity or so.

But it's really fun to play, isn't it?

  • Comment removed

  • Well, if it was written by an Italian, we'd listen to you. Unfortunately, it was written by a German.

  • ok, but it's "Solveggetto", not "Solfeggietto".

  • sick.

  • that's nice

  • AWESOME :D NICE NICE NICE

  • this arrangement has a cool ending

  • sometimes i think bach wrote these pieces to show off at dinner parties... then i realized...... piano players dont eat people food.

  • LOL!

  • Outstanding! That was wonderful. Bach has some crazy pieces. Was it fun to play? Ha! =]

  • im playing it and yea it's fun :P

  • Ummmm this piece was written by Johann Sebastian Bach's son, Carl Philip Emmanuel Bach....CPE Bach.

  • Bravo il pianista ma soprattutto grande Bach!!

  • Wow, that's really good, I love playing this song, it's so fun, and actually, quite easy.

  • W-O-W!!!

    amazing

    ~peace

  • good job mate i'm playin this right now and i must you are million times better than me! i play it a bit slower and i must say you are a genius

  • great performance wish i could play like that

But It Looks Like your C and F are Sticking

  • Aw dude you make me jealous. I used to play this a while ago, nearly that fast but so very unprecisely :P

I think i´ll give it some practice again ^^

  • Absolutly fantastic !!!!!

  • Wow

  • wow!

  • god damn you are amazing i wish i could play the piano that good

  • increadibly fast and amazingly clean, man I wish I could play this as fast as you *gets behind piano to practise*

  • best version of this song on youtube. well done!

  • Your piano sounds dead, but good performance.

  • Interprétation claire, à une allure "raisonnable" qui privilégie la musique plutôt que la performance "sportive"

  • Awesome job. Just like kazeHURRICANE said, this really is the best played Solfeggietto video on YouTube. Congratulations. =)

  • Man, I think that with that Solfeggietto, Carl Philip Emmanuel just owned his father.
