  • Very nice presentation, honest and helpful for others, thanks for posting...... BTW Satriani is my favorite musician, great song choice! I fly cessna 172s but still can learn from this humble video! Thanks again!

  • I appreciate how frank and honest this is. Very helpful. Glad everyone is ok.

  • good clip thanks for uploading it

  • I hope you will fly again! :)

  • I hope you will fly again! :)

  • Been there done that in '08! mine was not videotaped although worse to my Trike, I got out of it without a scratch. I agree with the comments; "keep up the speed when landing" even if you have to use power. I went back to taking more lessons, on the first landings with my instructor my knees were literaly shaking. Dont give it up.

  • Watched this at least 20 times, you are in effect, a good teacher, learned a lot from this glad you are ok.

  • I am sorry to see you got hurt but it could have been worse. I have been accident free in my time flying trikes but there have been some scary moments. This video is a good example of what can happen. I'm guessing you are an experienced pilot? An incident like this can take a while to get over, mentaly. I wish you a safe flying future. Take care!

  • From a fellow trike flier, I'm glad you guys are alright. This does however explain why John Olsen trained me the way he did, -pulling the bar in on approach to gain extra airspeed prior to flare is beneficial to maintaining control and having enough available airspeed available for lift, -just in case . I'm sorry you guys had to endure this, nobody likes to see a fellow flier get hurt, please don't give up flying, -brush it off, learn from it, and move forward. All the best.............

  • Very good video

  • Glad you guys where both ok....a good educational video for other trikers....thank you for posting.

    Nick in the UK.

  • What about higher landingspeed? Sad to see a triker crash like that. Kind regards,Trikepilot from Norway.
