  • This is very nice jazz drumming man.

  • Very nice drumming Fernando, i like your style and sound! What snare is that? Brand and size please...

  • Where did u get these drumless tracks? i would love to play with then. also, great feel.

  • Thank you for posting this, you play truly wonderful!

  • You play well sir. The K Zildgians sound awesome on this too. Really good jazz drummers are not as easy to find as most think. Great in the pocket and break out when you need to. I wish I could play jazz like that. Rock and roll is a cruel mistress. I hit too hard and tune to low for good response from the heads. Great work man.

  • you think we can get some cymbal specs?

  • Thank you for using mics!!!!!! its sounds awesome

  • Nice drumming man!

  • wow, you're amazing! nice work

  • you nailed that man ! great drumming , takes alot of practice to flow as smoothly as that !

  • Not my taste in music but you did well. Seems Pretty simple for most drummers, (not me I'm a beginner) but correct me if I'm wrong. :)

  • @TheLongboarder100 i wouldn't say that you are WRONG, but jazz drumming is one of the most difficult genres in my opinion. there is a lot more to it than one might think ;) this guy is definitely talented, not SUPER awesome, but definitely very good :)

  • @Swashbukkles Yes I would agree :)

  • @TheLongboarder100 its pretty tough, im not a jazz drummer, but ive been playing 4 years now, and those filllss.... i wish i could play that smooth, this guy.... definitely a tough style of music to play on any instrument

  • Those cymbals sound amazing, I love almost every K that I've heard... great playing too!

  • That snare sounds godly

  • That set sounds really good, especially the snare.

  • nicccee!

  • nice what are the 2 rides? keep up the great work!!

  • COOL DUDE!

  • you sound great man .... your room is a fucking pig sty though ... my god

  • @sweetfly66 lol

  • You can play those bloody drums. On the second one those snare rolls were just orgasmic.

  • Which ride is towards your right? The more washy one. I love it.

  • And jazz lives ,*-)

  • @kamaway13 wow i left the R out of yourrrr... shoot me :)

  • Where do you get these tracks?

  • @Drumsauce136: These are play alongs that come with Joh Riley's books: The Art of Bop Drumming and Beyond Bop Drumming

  • This is great! Do you have any tips for improving jazz playing?

  • What are those 2 rides you used in this video ?

  • tasty snare comping.

  • Smooth playing. Where did you get the tunes?

  • now this is what i call advanced music. UNLIKE ROCK!!!!! basic 44 beats crap, this is great good on ya dude. This is the sort of stuff what i play.

  • @Tom17Talent What a ridiculous comment. Most jazz is in 4/4 too. They both their own groove and skill. If you only play jazz, then I can guarantee you couldn't sit in and play rock well at all. I make my living playing mainly jazz, but I also do rock/funk/Latin etc and it takes a lot of practice to play all/any music well. No music is better or more advanced. All music can be good and all can be bad. If you think one style is more advanced, then you just don't understand it.

  • @bteniswood Haha your a ridiculous person, you have totally misunderstood what i had said. I clearly put basic 4/4 rock beats, I didn't even mention that jazz wasn't played in that time signature. All that i meant was that rock is a lot easier and basic to play than jazz. And besides I have had a lot of experience on the drums and many other instruments and playing verious genres of music all of which i taught myself. And I'm not bothered about certain bigheaded people telling me bull shit.

  • @bteniswood On the otherhand I'm the one that should be being cocky with you, because i've got more talents than you'll ever have.

  • @bteniswood Your also very confrontation aswell, I just looked on your channel in your recent comments, and you alway try to correct people without actually knowing what it meant.

You'd probably backchat someone if they'd put "Fuck You Cunt", you probably make an even bigger living not out of playing jazz, but by commenting on other peoples comments.

  • jazz drumming sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fsant6 you may not like the genre but jazz drumming can really help

  • @fsant6 I hope that's a joke!

  • Now THAT'S drumming.

  • surely as drummers we should compliment peoples work instead of giving negative feedback? anyway i personally thought the patterns without fills were still very nice and timed very well ;)

  • @joshthedrummer21 you drumming is poor!!! check his stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jpbraziliano lol....you drumming is poor? use correct grammar b4 insulting someone :)....nd btw..its not negative feed back..its constructive critism :)

  • Man, I want to learn to play jazz too:D

  • good jazz drumming...ur fills are boring and easy...get creative :) its jazz ;D

  • I really like your style man! What micing are you doing? Or is it just an amazing camara?

  • What set is this? You sound great!

  • John Riley would be proud!

  • You are good. Has anyone told you that?

  • John riley the art of bop drumming

    wot snare are you using?

really nice covers, nice to see someone playing the tunes

  • VERY nice bro. Awesome drumming.

  • This is awesome, sick chops, great feeling and u gotta love that cymbal configuration, nicely done sir :)

  • this is amazing! brilliant to see someone so you into jazz and play it exeptionally!

  • you have a very good taste in cymbals :P

  • Wow, fantastic. Its nice to see raw talent instead of some faggot kid covering a fucking Blink 182 song or something, really really good! Love the rack tom sounds very nice. Ive got a Craviotto snare drum and a 17' by 19' bass drum, bosphorus masters series 22' ride, 18' crash and 13' hats and its a lovely little kit.

  • Hi, great playing, what cymbal setup are you using?

  • awesome, how long have you been playing? you don't look young, anyway great job!

  • when u play stuff like this, do u use the bass drum alot?

  • @cleanupbigfoot depends the way you play the jazz.

  • Great work, I really like the snarework

  • Q rik esta esa onda!... :O

  • muy bueno ..

  • Nice to see a young man playing jazz.

  • nice playing, nice fuckin snare

  • bloke from the inbetweeners?

  • Why you got 2 lits for?

  • one is very dry and the other has a lot of wash and sustain

  • @Fernandogomezdrums i love your dry ride sound, is it the custom or dark dry ride?

  • Very good, nice feel.Beautiful sounding set and cymbals.

  • very, very, very well done man!! great playing, love your style and technique

  • KUDOS!

  • good

  • Awesome drumming man! I like how you have 2 rides set up for different textures.

  • excellent feel sir. i think on the first tune you may want to use the quarter note a little more on the ride cymbal instead of the syncopation beat, but only a little more not too much if you know what i mean.

  • what ride are you playing at the start?....AND NICE PLAYING!

  • you have very great left hand independence

  • Your really good!
