She spent 10 years in Brasil from 1939-1949 which she considered to be the best years of her life ans it is very astonishing or surprising that there is no movie or video clips or video advertising about Beatriz Costa during this important and long lasting period of her life.
I am afraid you are right. At least, I haven't seen any movies from these 10 years you mentioned, but I am not sure if there are any records in portuguese television archives.
I contacted the cinema portuguese agency as well as well as the instituto de cinéma e audiovisual. They do not have any of these movies or clips in their archival records. This is very surprising if one consider that one can find many clips from Carmen Miranda who was still in Brasil at the time Beatriz Costa arrived. I am still searching facts!!!
@Uboata ...Beatriz Costa did not consider her years in Brazil to be the best years of her life...I have NEVER heard that...so please, stick to the facts. Now, there are no recordings of her probably because her performances there did not affect her career. They were not monumental in establishing her fame.
About the 10 years of beatriz costa in brazil as being her "Best years of her life" i suggest that you read one of her books: Sem Papas Na Lingua" Memorias, Publicacoes Europa-America 1976, pp 149 and pp 170. She enjoyed freedon, liberty of action as well as tremendous success while allowing her to create a revista production company and she met the most popular and well known actors of rhe world performing at the Urca casino and other place in Rio and Sao Paolo.

I wish to know her complete and name, village or city of origin, name of her parents. I was told that she did only that movie and that she married later. Also, she is from a noble or rich family.
