You know Goljan is a great teacher, but it kills me to watch students arm wrestle him. He always gets their fist pulled close to his chest before the match starts and then proceeds to just use his body to win. So it's basically the strength of their ability to internally rotate vs. his body weight along with his strength.
@TheLetterJ That's how armwrestling is. It's called a top roll. Professional arm wrestling rules don't have the 'keep your arm straight rule' adopted in casual arm wrestles.
2) I never said that I would like Dr. Goljan to arm wrestle in a different style. My observation and comment was that I wish someone on video would match him in the manner carlosrached described. I was complaining about his opponents' styles, not his. smh.
