@gomunkul Indeed. cremo is a vedic creationist. which is funny to me, because science doesn't need to get closer to religion, especially monotheism. But it's absurd for science to completely ignore the sense of spirit, you know, the enigmatic consciousness . there are some very big gaps in our history, which is why cremo does what he does, but he warps the findings around his beliefs, much like erik von daniken does when it comes to aliens. but i think the truth will be much more psychedelic ;)

Furthermore it should be pointed out that the spheres in question were found near the town of Klerksdorp which is in the North West province [ which was formed out of the old Transvaal Province & a portion of the Northern Cape ] & not in Gauteng. Klerksdorp of course is within the old Transvaal region. Gauteng is a very small area of the old Transvaal region.

President Marthinus Pretorius & Paul Kruger invaded the Orange Free State in 1857 attempting to join the two republics by force but the Free Staters were against it & repelled the invasion. The Orange Free State adopted their own Vierkleur flag on Feb 23 1857. There were other smaller Boer Republics but those two major ones lasted until the British invaded during the second Anglo-Boer War. Approx 50 % of the Boer child population died in the concentration camps Britain set up during the war.

Just for the record, the word "Transvaal" was the name ascribed by the Apartheid regime to an area now known as Gauteng.

No that is not true at all. The name Transvaal was given to the region north of the Vaal River & right up to the Limpopo River by members of the trekking Boer communities during the 19th cent. Transvaal is Boeretaal [ the Boer dialect of Afrikaans ] for "across the Vaal" & Vaal means "drab" in Afrikaans & was named by either the Griquas or the Boers who speak different dialects of Afrikaans: a Germanic / Frankonish-Malay language influenced by / Khoi / Portuguese / Dutch / French & German.

It was created when the Potchefstroom Republic & Lydenburg Republic & Zoutpansberg Republic & Rustenburg Republic [ all north of the Vaal River ] joined to form a centralized state known as the ZAR. The world renown Vierkeur [ four colour ] was adopted on Jan 6 1857 for the new state / republic. The Orange Free State [ Oranje Vrij Staat ] was another major Boer Republic.

The Apartheid governments [ run by Cape Dutch descendents & comparatively few Boer descendents ] did not name the region as it was already named Transvaal & Gauteng is only a very small portion of the Transvaal region. The Transvaal Republic & the Orange Free State Republic were both made into provinces along with the Cape & Natal in the new macro State of South Africa. Various Boers have tried to restore the Boer Republics since 1914 & many are still struggling to restore them again.
