By my reckoning, the 335D is about the best all round car available. It handles like a BMW should, which is excellent by automotive standards. It will do a 0 to 60 of 6.3 sec and pulls clean to the governor at 155 mph (outpacing a Jaguar XJ8). Yet, it's a practical mid sized 4 door with all the luxury and safety stuff. It even returns 35 mpg on the highway. It's about the best compromise of all the areas a car can be good at.

This Golf is VW GTI G60, but the G60 is replaced by a Garrett T3 Turbo and runs on 1.5bar.
