Too everyone thats concidering gettin this now, well yeah you should. It's a Hack n Slash game, with a great dungeon system, it's timed and about kills and you'll be rewarded the better and faster you play, even the boss have this thing. after you achiev Silver or Gold you get to choose Loot. Spells are like the older games and you use Gems to increase stats, and effects. Instead of choosing at each level up.

The game is so bad that it must not even use the word "Mana" in the title. I do not understand why one has to crap-up every game-series with a Nintendo DS adaptation nowadays. The Mana-Series had a flawless reputation up to now, but after Sword of Mana and Children of Mana, it's over. Thank you! It did not spoil me or induced me to kill my parents that I played Secret of Mana or A Link to the Past; all Games in which the characters had sort of human features...

The graphics look sort of Summon Night: Twin Age. Hell, the gameplay looks sort of similar too. Twin Age was okay, but waay too easy.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (something like that) DS plays a little like this if you're interested although I personally find this game better.

I'm not sure if it falls under RPG, but Kingdom Hearts 358/2 is an awesome game. Mind you, it makes more sense when you play parts 1 & 2 for the PS2 and Chain of Memories for the GBA. ^_^

I bought this game and I am not to far from the ending. All I have to say is that I am disappointed with this game. It is about 10 steps back from the mana series. In other words, it is an average game.

No its not, You dont roam around. You pick a stage and then play through the dungeon, I think It was a really easy, short and kind of boring game, its really repeatitive and not much fun, I beat it the first day I got it:S. I never tried multiplayer, that might be fun I think

That's why we have ROMs... but let's be real for one second. Why do people hate all the new Mana games? I remember when LoM came out everyone hated it except me! I thought it was the best Square style RPG I'd played since Chrono Trigger. Now we all remember it fondly. This game is hated the same way as LoM when it was released, even though IGN gave it an 8/10.

well LoM was a good game but it was too easy since you lvled fast and your power increased too much for each lvl, so the bosses were easy because you were too strong from lvling normally.
