LoL, I think you mean Valve - OVERLAP, not valve lash. Overlap is the exhaust valve still being slightly open as the intake valve is opening which works fine on an aggressive high reving Naturally Aspirated motor, but when the A/F mixture is being forced in by a turbo, it tends to blow right through and out the exhaust again. Turbo cams solve this :)
