@joizkewl It is actually more coincidence than anything. I had a faint memory of seeing the Bary and Stuart version and tried to recreate it from memory. The outfit looking similar was a complete coincidence. I'm not sure how they did their version, but I'm guessing it's done similar to mine.

I got the idea from a production of Sweeney Todd. They used a very similar effect. However there are many people who ask me if I'm really cutting myself. That's how you know it works :)

Ummm I don't think a skin violin has a C string right next to the E string. And horrible bow strokes. You intonation is off, plus your sharps and flats were out. And the viola section needs to come out more!~
