The trailer looks ok....but I was impressed with Lebron James Chalk Toss and how they captured Dwight's pregame routine. As far as coverboy promoting, it doesnt matter. Example Nba 2k10 cover is not as creative as Nba Live 10's Cover But it doesnt mean anything. I always played 2K & Live but for a few years I have been playin 2k more. I still tried out Live every year but it wasn't what it use to be. I do think this year looks alot better than what it's been cause i can admit live has sucked for a lil bit but i do think it is finally back and its not BS. Thats being said without me seeing 2k10 yet to lol. but i will tomorrow finally see gameplay. guess i will have to wait and decide once again which is better when the demos come out.

you should check out the Czar's videos over at Operation Sports. He is doing a battleground between 09 and 2k9 and the latest video really shows you kind of people that even though 09's animations dont look the best, the core basketball gameplay is further developed than what 2k is bringing to the table.
what i mean about the "auto shot" comments was that based on the pietrus three pointer from the corner it look like auto shot from live 08 in which i think live should do away with their shot timing control for jump shot cuz it dont make sense i mean you could be wide open with a great shooter like steve nash or jason kapono have their jump shots mastered and still miss a wide open three from their hotspot eventhough their hot from everywhere by the way you sound like a EA FANBOY TO THE FULLEST

your quoting a article that in which came out four years ago. dude last night i played live 06 and there were no TRUE signature shots except for marion beside that there was two generic shot types one for pg,sg,sf and one for the big men meaning pf,c just for live 02-05 on current gen.
from a public standpoint, EA is still recovering from Live 07, which I traded in the first day I got it for 2k7. however, they kept the footplanting technology and killed everything else that was in Live 07; which is why 08 didn't feel more finished than even 06/07.

while it was a phenomenal trailer, a couple of things were wack. IT seems live 10 only focused on the physique and body type or notable players in this case Lebron and Dwight..i mean that doesnt look like mo williams...or jameer nelson. nelson is a more bulk guy.
Also. The movements of player off the ball seems weird too. Jerky and whatnot.
Lastly, whats with the crowd? I like how they got the "Ignite" shirts and wavers, but they all move like robots...look at 2k9's crowd and watch this.

Your points, likely.. The Easports team was playing 5 on 5.. and rashard was controlled by a human at 0:24.. And also, this game isnt finished yet.. Theres a lot more work left to do on it, it'll look better at release. And things that I noticed were.. that all shots that go in dont look the same.. like they did in Live 09, the rim and mesh move according to the ball so thats nice physics or watever. The players also dont look thin/small like they used to anymore.

you should check out the Czar's videos over at Operation Sports. He is doing a battleground between 09 and 2k9 and the latest video really shows you kind of people that even though 09's animations dont look the best, the core basketball gameplay is further developed than what 2k is bringing to the table.

what i mean about the "auto shot" comments was that based on the pietrus three pointer from the corner it look like auto shot from live 08 in which i think live should do away with their shot timing control for jump shot cuz it dont make sense i mean you could be wide open with a great shooter like steve nash or jason kapono have their jump shots mastered and still miss a wide open three from their hotspot eventhough their hot from everywhere by the way you sound like a EA FANBOY TO THE FULLEST

you're basing it off of a new sig shot in a trailer? and funny that you mention that since 08 didnt have shot control, it was how you described it, you tell the game to shoot, it does the ideal shot release.
also funny that you call me a fanboy. I lead the breakthroughs that allowed patching of 2k9 on the PC and have played the crap out of 2k6-2k9 on the 360 and played the other 2k's on the PS2. you dont know me, I just know all the facts about each game.

correct i am basing off on a new sig shot in a trailer. in to which i might add that is not how mickeal pietrus shoot the ball 2k always has had sig shots and signatures shot archs perfectly replicated. in to which that is the only thing that i want to see as far as gameplay is concerned. and how EA and mike wang copy 2k on shot archs and the new bank shots their putting in the game i seen the blog today as far as presentation signature chants and reaction for players like calderon for toronto.

why does it have to be EA copying 2k with the signature crowds and shot arcs rather than them being late to incorporate it into their game?
Not to say im right and you're wrong, but why does EA have to be the bad guys when they are a brand new development team this year with glory day (03-05) Live devs, old 2k devs, and new blood.

well Live 06 360 had sig shots, not advertised nor for a lot of players, but it had sig shots. funny that you call Wang a traitor when he has said in interviews that 2k "held him back" and didnt let him implement all of his ideas whereas EA is letting him do whatever he wants with Live with more resources.

from a public standpoint, EA is still recovering from Live 07, which I traded in the first day I got it for 2k7. however, they kept the footplanting technology and killed everything else that was in Live 07; which is why 08 didn't feel more finished than even 06/07.

while it was a phenomenal trailer, a couple of things were wack. IT seems live 10 only focused on the physique and body type or notable players in this case Lebron and Dwight..i mean that doesnt look like mo williams...or jameer nelson. nelson is a more bulk guy.
Also. The movements of player off the ball seems weird too. Jerky and whatnot.
Lastly, whats with the crowd? I like how they got the "Ignite" shirts and wavers, but they all move like robots...look at 2k9's crowd and watch this.

that was the one point I failed to mention the player physiques they finally got lebron physique correct and the same with dwight in past live games they had him too thick in his upper body when really he is just a highly muscular small forward in a power forwards frame by height who can play center

Celtics played the Magic 4 times in the regular season. The Celtics won the first 2 games with KG(and it was a blowout), then KG gets injured, and the Celtics lose to the Magic. But, you know what happened in 1 of those last 2 games, the Magic were blowing the Celtics out throughout the whole game. Not done next comment

Continuing from what I said. The Magic were being blowing out the Celtics throughout the whole game. Then came the 4th quarter, the Celtics were losing by 18, then all of a sudden, the Celtics were coming back, know why?, because the Magic didnt play any Defense and cant hold a Lead. The Celtics came within 4 points in the final minute, but Ray Allen missed the 3 pointer to cut it within 1 point. The Celtics lose that game( but they came back). Not Done

The final meeting between the 2 teams(KG comes back, but has limited minutes because of injury). The Magic were beating the Celtics badly once again, but you know, the Magic mess up during crucial moments. The Celtics come back down by 2, Celtics ball with 1-2 seconds left on the game clock, Paul Pierce takes the 3 to win the game, but misses the game-winning shot.
So you cant tell me that the Magic can really beat the Celtics.

100% sure it's not finished. The game designer Mike Wang (2k designer), said it's only 70% done right there. They didn't have enough time, so they just threw in some old work and showed it in this trailer. Just wait til the final product to judge people.

The players' movements still look unnatural. Look at 0:24 and watch how Rashad Lewis turns around to block LeBron's dunk. Who turns around like that? After all these years EA refuses to change this. The gameplay will suck. NBA 2K10 will stomp a mudhole in NBA Live again this year.

the rim doesnt move when they dunk, it was 2 plays in this video that was un realistic because of the defense that was played.

Your points, likely.. The Easports team was playing 5 on 5.. and rashard was controlled by a human at 0:24.. And also, this game isnt finished yet.. Theres a lot more work left to do on it, it'll look better at release. And things that I noticed were.. that all shots that go in dont look the same.. like they did in Live 09, the rim and mesh move according to the ball so thats nice physics or watever. The players also dont look thin/small like they used to anymore.
