You have saved my husband in Sacramento, California in 2001....he would have died from his heart attack.... My mother in her 60's, the ride of her life..on a helicopter, she was in Arizona when she had a heart attack.........

You saved my daughter, when I got you to the hospital in time...your fever spiked at 106.

You got my family to the hospital when I was a child... a car accident...my mother and I had minor injuries.

u wanna know what ithink is crap? paramedics do just as much (sometimes more than) as a registedred nurse. but, do you think they get the pay, though? oh well, guess the good guys can't always have their cake and eat it too.

paramedics, firefighters, and emt's do not get enough credit for what they do and they should get paid more for what they do because there is not enough money in the world to give these people that see so many tragic situations

Does anyone know th difference between working for a Rescue Squad and working for a Fire Department..Do you do more things in a Rescue Squad

it all depends on your area on what exactly the "rescue squad" does. Usually a rescue squad does Swift Water Rescue, Confined Space, high rope rescue, SAR...things like that. Also some fire departments do all of these things and have there own Rescue squad that is apart of the department, aka "Special Duty Assignments", .

EMT's are from Iredell County, Mooresville NC. They have Hi vis uniforms they where all the time. The chopper is from CMC Med Center air, out of Charlotte, NC. Hope that helps.
