I feel bad for you that you couldn't go to see your family for Thanksgiving. That really sucks. :( I know what you mean about airports tho... back in August I was supposed to fly back to Canada to see some of my family there and guess when my flight was... a mere 4 days after the whole Heathrow plane terror plot! I honestly was just ready to cancel my flight right there! I was SOOOO scared!
I thought that... that could be my plane... I mean I was flying out of Heathrow (London) to New York for a connector, then New York to Toronto and Toronto to Vancouver... and I was so scared! I thought I would never get on a plane again after I heard about all those liquid bombs and they were planning on taking them on trans-Atlantic flights to the States...
I swear I though I was going to die. I was SO scared. Security was utter Hell and I must have been in the security line for at least three and a half hours (just security alone) and that was actually moving pretty fast considering all that happened.
When I finally got there, I had to take my shoes off, wasn't allowed to take any carry on at all except my passport and a small notebook with my travel itinerary in it, had to throw out the little make up that I did bring (just powder concealer - wasn't even liquid), and they made me take out my retainer and they had to examine it to make sure that I didn't have some sort of microscopic device or something attached to it... my retainer!
I mean seriously! Do I LOOK like a terrorist! Whatever though... I kept telling myself that I'd rather have all the crazy security and hopefully catch someone that was going to do something bad then have myself blown up. So... yeah... I got on the plane and everything went alright, but I was just so freaked out the entire time. It was really scary.
I guess I should just be thankful that nothing actually happened... but still. So yeah... I'm not really sure why I mentioned all that (lol) but I think my point was just that I know what you mean about airports and how flying is just awful now... a whole ordeal. Gotta love the cool plastic baggies. :P I hope you had a good Thanksgiving nonetheless. :) Cheers.
but yur sure rite about the airport the worse is wen u have a flight being delayed all yur plans are so crushed its so annoyin and so embarrasing wen yu have to almost tk off all yur stuff and almost get naked and stuff...but yeah never travel during the holiday trave months or a month before...lol anyways gud luck with the vid okay...x

Normally I'm fine on planes and with airports, but Heathrow... god... really bad experience overall. I really don't want to relive all that again.
