Quick question: What about the blood left over after the surgery, do you suction it? Or leave it? Given the fact that this operation was performed in a sensitive area, what are the chances of internal bleeding?
Last question: any prescription medication? Antibiotics? Stitches?
Thank you so much for the great videos, and keep up the good work!
excellent video! I am obgyn ARNP and just had this done. always amazes me! btw, the patient is asleep and doesn't feel anything! has nothing to do with having a baby
@kvkerns100 can I ask what problems you were having that made you get this done. I have been having issues since having my daughter 4 years ago. She was born by c-section.
It is the woman's uterous and ovaries. The doctor is removing adhesions which are a result of being moved around during surgery. I'm not a surgeon just a nurse, but I don''t see what was wrong on 1.15 he's just cutting and caterizing adeasions which I don't think anyone would want seeing how they are very painful.
That was a Kool video 2 watch. I wonder if I could get on a list where a doc would implant me with the uterous and ovaries of a woman who has passed? They put ppl on waiting list 4lungs, livers, etc...I don't C Y getting female organs would B so bad.
I had cervical cancer & my doc took everything, years later I found out it was overkill, he should have just taken cervix & left my uterous, ovaries, tubes, in place. Which all turned out 2 be perfect. Now I'm babieless & can't have 1:-(.
Wow this surgeon appears to be pretty rough! I wonder if this woman has already conceived and is no longer concerned about becoming pregnant.... I guess in that case it would make a small difference, but wow! Go easy!
Thanks for sharing. I agree this is important for people to understand what some of us go through. Seeing it first hand is a great way for others to understand.
@PullMyTriggerOK : And you're a qualified specialist gynaecologist?? The surgeon diathermied the adhesion inside the trocar, avoiding burning any surrounding tissues.

@mammal46: Although a terrible situation, it is very common to see surgeons remove more than they they too.

@memnock, diathermy is less effective with adhesiolysis than excision - same goes for endo removal
