  • ملاحظة: رمادي ماخوذة من رمااد (رماد بقايا النار )

  • @MCSWKA

ههههه بقايا النار هو الدخان يا اخي الفاضل فلذلك المرجو ان تعدل معلومتك المغلوطه

الرماد هو بقايا الحطب او الفحم اذا اصبح الفحم احمر او الحطب احمر فانه يصبح هشا ومن ارتفاع الحراره التي يلقاها يصبح غبار متراكم وياخذ لون قريب الى الفضي غير لامع

اتمنى ان اكون قد صححت المعلومه شكرا لك

  • Thanks a lot for your effort. You are a great person

  • Your guess at the English "sky blue" was correct, and "azure" is basically another word for the same thing, possibly slightly darker. There is also "light blue" which is generally lighter than "sky blue". The definitions are not extremely consistent since English is not standardized.

  • شكرا لكي يا مها , تابعي هذا المجهود الرائع لتعلمي هذه اللغة التي يتكلمها كثير من البشر في هذا العالم , و تخيلي كم من البشر سيستفيدون من هذه المعرفة حول العالم .

  • bourtoquale is so similar to the greek word for orange

  • te l'appoggio

  • Ramad means Ash!! Ramadee is an adjective to the noun Ramad (ash) so it's like "Ash-lee".

So, Grey is the color of ash (ramad) so Ramadee.

  • انتي عراقية ؟؟؟؟؟؟

  • @riyadhatrah

    شكلها سعوديه

  • @asdasd1114 لبنانية ومسيحية

  • Yes in English you call it "Azure" but you don;'t pronounce the r like you did, that's the only difference. You kinda pronounce it to rhyme with "sure".

    Btw hot accent

  • Ciao Maha! Volevo chiederti, i colori al femminile come vanno scritti? Voglio dire, con un alif maqsura, una ta marbuta o una normale?

سودى oppure سودا oppure ancora سودة ?

Grazie mille in anticipo, e complimenti per le tue lezioni, prima che cominciassi l'università sei stata la mia prima insegnante d'arabo, ed è anche merito tuo se mi ci sono appassionato! ^_^

  • I just come here because she has a beautiful face...hehehe

  • What kind of dialect of arabic are you teaching? The classical, or ???

  • Dear Maha, first of all, WOW pretty face and good teaching... keep up the good work... i jst wanna add a little note here: u forgot the color brown... "بني" which i think has the same pattern as orange and gray (the color of Ash) in converting between the masculine and feminine forms... also, i think these three colors (orange, gray, and brown) are derived from actual objects, e.g. -orange from the fruit (as u said) -gray from the Ash "رماد" -brown from the coffee beans "بن"
  • HI Maha, great video. Just a little comment. For the color "Ramadee", it's the same as "Burtoqalee", because it refers to "Ramad" (which means Ash) as "Bortoqalee refers to "Bortoqal" (=oranges).

    That's it :)

    Keep up the good work!

    Salam!

  • والله تنطقها كنها عربيه

  • بررررررررررررررتقالي ؟

  • هههههه شوف شلون تقول اصفر هههه

  • سيارتي لونها رمادي.. يا حظي بس

  • SO NICE!!

  • how much

  • haha does bortoqalee have anything to do with Turkish orange(fruit but not color) (portakal), it is really fun.

  • The lessons are great. You sound just like my teacher and give good explanations on the pronounciations. However I had to ask my friend how to write aswad as the letters were hidden by your black hair. lol. So it ends with a dell unlike the earlier colours

  • Ashrak, hmm is this the name of the gos from the stargate, omg it is lol :)

  • Ramadii comes from the word "ramd" which means "ashes"

  • THANK YOU MAHA

  • She is really good. She explains everything very consistently, clearly and intelligently. A good linguist!

  • loool i noticed that your egyptian cuz u said " azraq samawy " instead of " labany " but yoou're hot !!

  • "ramad" =means Ash in arabic.

    ramady= Ashy color Gray.... : )

  • "ramad" meands Ash in arabic. "ramady" as in Ashy color Gray.... : )

  • what's brown in arabic?

  • @sumanaluvsfetch

بني or boonee and this is the masculine

  • @sumanaluvsfetch bonii - bon'ion

  • You forgot brown.

  • Azrak samawy also mean labany (لاباني)

  • الرماد : مايتبقى من الجمر

  • Bueno video

  • Maha FYI Ramad means ash and as you know the color of ashes is gray. and thats where Ramadee is derived from. thank you for your efforts to teach Arabic to people you're awesome. =)

    BTW :<3 your videos

  • Hi Maha thanks for explanation, only one suggestion I have if you put numbers in your videos we can easily follow now we are going to different videos.

    Jazakullah wa khir

  • ازرق فاتح = سماوي

عموما شكرا جدا جدا على التعليم

    تمنياتي لكي بالتوفيق يا حلوة

  • Why no brown and purple? also, you should have spell the 'color' in arabic (الالوان ?) in the video. Tnx anyway for the vid.

  • @bebegique I'm assuming you already knew the answer already but if anybody else wants to know, "BROWN" is "BOONEE" and "PURPLE" is banafsejeeyah. I don't have an Arabic text in my computer to transliterate it into Arabic text.

  • نشتكي من ضعف الصوت في اغلب التسجيلات يامها دمتى عزيزه غاليه مقدره جهودك في نشر ثقافه التواصل بين البشر لكي منا اجمل الود

  • im from saudi arabia and all what you say is right

  • Hi, Maha. I will start to learn Arabic with you

  • انتي من اي ولاية أنا من أوهايو يا مها أنا محتاج كم درس تقوية الانجليزي

  • ليس أزرق سماوي

    بل أزرق فاتح

    و العكس

    و أزرق غامق أو قاتم

  • الرمادي من الرماد كمالبرتقالي من البرتقال

  • Hi Maha!

I've noted that you wrote BORTOQALEE but also BORTUQALEY, and RAMADEE but also RAMADEY. To become feminine, they need to mantein the "Y". In fact they are BORTUQALEYYA and RAMADEYYA.. but is it the same if I write BORTOQALEE or BORTUQALEY for example?

Notice that I've not learned to write in Arabic letters yet! lol

I promise I'll start to do this, but first I want to have a little fun in knowing some good amount of words.

Thanks a lot and greetings from South Italy! :-)

  • um sorry , "Ramad" does have a meaning in arabic ,it means " ash" in english which is grey, and that why we add the "ee" to get "ramadee" which means "grey" , so it's kinda like the way we get the word "bortoqalee" :)

    You're doing a nice job ^^

    viewer from morocco ;)

  • thank you nice videos

  • Hullo Maha. Can you please write also the colors in femenine. Thnx

  • RAMAD mean ASH and you know that the coulour of ASH is gray

so the same rool as bourtoqale

    coulour frome things like rose

in arabic rose is warde from ward(rose)

  • Keep on it sister ...

    Thank you very much

  • Ooh, okay, making the colors feminine seems easy enough, you just move the vowels over one letter to the right! Azraq- ZarqA; Ahmar-HamrA; Asfar-SafrA, etc. Thank you, Maha!

  • this language seems to be so difficult

  • @PLAlfa a little...cuz it has some letters you're not used to it! but ur gonne ;love it when u learn it!

  • GREAT ... I LOVED UR VDOS....REALY COOL

  • ciao

le tue lezioni sn davvero interessanti..ho passato molto tempo cn alcuni ragazzi arabi qnd studiavo in australia...e sentirti parlare mixando la tua lingua all'inglese(e qlke parolina d'italiano) mi ha fatto ven in mente quei momenti....6 grande!!!e bella...

  • Ramad means ash

  • and Ramadie means Gray

  • che brava che sei!!!sai che in sardegna c'è un paese che si chiama Bortigali?secondo me è perchè c'erano un sacco di arance!

  • thanx alot maha..its helping me alot in learning arabic..great work dear..god bless you

  • bardzo dobre lekcje! w wolnych chwilach lubię się z Tobą pouczyć :-)

    next language to be learnt?

assure you, much easier than Arabic or Hebrew :-)

  • Thanks a lor for the arabic class, I have enjoyed myself

  • you are a great teacher !

  • Great keep the good work

  • Here is how we say these colors in Arabic (in order):

    wardi = pink

    banafsajee = purple

    bunnee = brown

    akhdar fateh = light green

thahabi = golden ("th" as in "the")

    [gold means thahab]

  • very interresting but to cute to follow all the lesson

  • i think you're wrong das 81..green in arabic is aghdar and before prayer you say Allah AKBAR..wich means Allah is great. so its not akbar but greeen is aghdarrrr..there's a difference.

  • What is the best dialect to learn after MSA? How long does it take to learn a dialect if you are proficient in MSA? How hard is it to maintain multiple dialects at the same time? How intelligible are the dialects between one another?

  • Comment removed

  • BTW, I have another question. The akhbar you exposed here as green, is the same akhbar that islamich mujaidins say before inmulate themselves-"Allah Akhbar"(Green god?, I know green is islam colour, but please answer my doubt).

  • @das81

The word you hear it said by the Islamic Mujahidins is "akbar" which means "great" OR "the Greatest", so when they say "Allah Akbar" it means "God is the greatest".

Now, the word "green" in Arabic is "Akhdar"... you may be right that they look alike, but they are different.

    Please note that "k" = ك

while "kh" = خ for Arab people.

I hope my explanation was helpful, and thanks for your interest.

  • well i'll give the benefit of the doubt i'll satify you curiosity well mate allah akbaar means god is great (al might god is great) not green there is a massive deference between akhdar which it is green "color" and akbar alright mate !

  • @das81

no, you say it different in Allah Akhbar you say like Allah ´´akbar´´ and if you want to know how to say akhDar you have to watch the video again.

  • rmady rmad o hoa lon al ash al7tab alma7rok

  • you're right. thank you!

  • how do you read Arabic? from Right to left like hebrew?.

  • yes, from right to left

  • @LearnArabicwithMaha ramady means gray and ramad means Ash

  • @das81 אתה מדבר עברית?

  • Thank you so much Maha !, I am learning you day by day by your Vdos, .. Thanks for your time and sacrifice for us.

May Allah give your reward for this ..

    Imran

  • girl, you are so beautiful... i love your videos! :-)
